Unacceptable Bugs

Snapdragon buffs battlecry weapons and hero cards. That’s right: permanent attack for your hero.

Rare · Minion · Voyage to the Sunken City · Battlecry: Give all Battlecry minions in your deck +1/+1.

And now Bioluminescence gives your minions not +1, but instead +2 spell damage.

Epic · Spell · Voyage to the Sunken City · Give your minions Spell Damage +1.

These are serious issues, and are unacceptable. You have to wonder: do they play-test whatsoever? I know at this point that question is a joke. In all seriousness, how is it possible to miss, especially the Snapdragon bug?

This is a product many of us pay a lot of money for. Grant it, we’re able to purchase minisets for gold; many players purchased this miniset with real currency, which is not to mention the golden miniset that’s $70.

Please, please, please, do better, Team 5.

Shouldn’t this be posted in the bugs section? I went to check whether it already is, but with so many new posts there, I might just not spot it.

Honestly, it occurred to me to post it there. I decided to put it here instead because this is the most popular sub and I believe this topic needs exposure. My apologies for the inconvenience.

To put the importance of this into perspective, Burn Shaman is now looking like tier 1 on the back of this bug since yesterday. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

isnt a big deal

they already said they are hotfixing this soon ( this week)

how could this even happen :joy:

the quality control team is really non exisent :man_facepalming:

how is having a permanent +1 attack on your hero not a big deal?
If the spell works as stated it basically does two times its effect for the same cost.

This is a big deal; they need to fix them immediately, like, yesterday as soon as they realized it.
Tomorrow there should be a tournament: will they allow bugged cards to be played, like they did with nellie when it crashed the game?

When it sours a launch it is a big deal. When it happens every patch it is a big deal. When it completely warps a meta to favor those who use the broken cards blizzard has provided - it’s a big deal.

People complain about bugs and issues because they care about the game. I want things to improve.

I think the QA team must amount to 2 people. They need more resources. I doubt they want these things to happen - so im thinking theres something else amiss. This is embarrassing. All that was needed was to play to see these issues. Snapdragon is a new card.

if you have a heart attack, the doctor will say:

“isnt a big deal, we fix it next week”

if your house is on fire, the firefighter will say:

“isnt a big deal, we fix it next week”

dude, what is wrong with you?
are paying customers not entitled to a fair game?
if you are not able to fix such a serious bug immediately, you take the card out first!

because they already told us we dont have to wait for the next patch for a fix

It’s okay if you disagree, but for me, “soon” just isn’t good enough. Firstly, this shouldn’t have happened at all. Secondly, this should have been hotfixed yesterday.

Good spotting on these bugs.
There’s a boat load of bugs too, in the otherwise very enjoyable and creative solo player run for faelfin.

Edit- I should also add that if anyone is knowingly running these cards to cheese out wins, shame on you!

Agreed, although it is tempting to build a rogue deck to get a permanent 4 attack on Scabbs.

the constant failures since ben brode and his best people left blizzard hearthstone mainly show a lack of quality. It will be interesting to see how long this will continue until stock investors insist on a “fix”.

Why?
Bioluminescence Shaman or Burn Shaman was a legit deck last month, and a fair one.
Why are shaman player now not allowed to play their deck because blizzard somehow double the spell power on bioluminescence?
I understand with 4 minions out, which isn’t hard to achieve, this is a freaking +8 spell damage on 3 mana, far better than malygos, but that’s on Blizzard, they create the situation. Why are shaman players responsible in your eye?

Not Shaman players. Players that knowingly exploit bugs are cheaters.
I’m not a cheater. I do play shaman quite often. So I’m a Shaman players that doesn’t cheat. I’m also a good person that doesn’t feel right about exploiting bugs. Blizzards fault or not.

what are shaman player suppose to do? not play bioluminescence? That the whole point of playing a burn shaman deck.
Stop being the white knight in shining armor for Blizzard, The have have billions of dollars, not to mention their parent company, Microsoft, they don’t need you.

I noticed the Hero bug in MY FIRST MATCH YESTERDAY.

There is no way Team 5 plays the live version of this game.

No way.

(And if you work for team 5, you really should not “defend” yourself by saying “Oh yes we do!” because that would make you look REALLY BAD!)

If I worked for Team 5 I’d be like “OH SNAP (dragon) Yeah… UMMM, we like use different computers and stuff because we have the designer’s codes and stuff and things, so, no no no, we wouldn’t see these things! SAAAA REEEEE!”

Honestly, this is a joke. The fact this isn’t hotfixed is crazy.

It’s embarrassing that this was released like this.

People who are running bioluminescence who are aware it’s bugged are cheaters, plain and simple.

Back when Kurtrus was bugged and giving additional attack to the felbats, I was unaware of that and playing it, so unwittingly I was exploiting but luckily they hotfixed fast enough that it didn’t impact too many games.

This is 100 % correct. The worst type of players and the worst type of players.
