The Great Beyond came out. I opened 83 packs, and I’m a free to play player. I played 10 games and I have yet to see one card from the expansion accept the cards I’m playing. Everyone is just locked into their same broken cards. We get new mechanics and people don’t care about engaging with them. Fun.

I played a few games to finish my quests and I only met new cards and decks.

It’s not loaded at all. That’s exactly what happened to me. I was excited to play the new cards. Played a Rogue deck i made myself, focusing on Starship pieces and I tell you I didn’t see one new card. I stepped away. Maybe later people will be engaging with it more but that wasn’t my experience.
i play wild and i don’t think i’ve seen a new card played yet except by me but i have a bad memory. wait there was a draenei warrior i think but i whupped him i think.
Again not my experience. I asked a couple of my opponents why they didn’t play new cards but it was complete defense mode. So I don’t know, what you think

It is the first day. Some people wait and watch how the meta develops so they can see which decks is worthy to invest dust in.
People are still opening packs right now.

Veterans who care to rank, often ON PURPOSE avoid them. It’s because too many people goof around with new cards so it’s an opportunity to rank fast (with old mature decks).

played a few in Wild today, a few decks had a couple, 2 decks went hard on new cards.

I’ve got new cards that I earned last season. I don’t know how to use them. I have no idea what I’m doing with this spaceship.

Typically ypu dont see many new cards start of expansion everyone is still trying to figure the expansion out. The pre release brawl only allowed ypu to use cards you opened bothing more. It also depends on what rank you are and what mode you are playing.

The best players aren’t one-dimensional like that. They both copy other good players and have the ability to construct. In practice that usually translates to seeing what works and doing modifications if needed; alternatively they may start from construction and do modifications later; just doing construction or just doing copy-pasting seems way too one-dimensional to be optimal.

Amen brother. While on the subject of steroids, when a ship piece gets sent to the pile, does it remember base stats or buffed stats?

People aren’t spending anymore and it takes time to collect some new cards to make decks, that aren’t weak.
I haven’t checked, usually these things remember base stats(like priest rezing) and during preview when kibler was playing druid he mentioned after casting Ensmallen it should get the base stats so losing a power in deck wouldn’t hurt.
