Both, actually. It was a wild deck.
You didn’t say you drew them though
Or that you played them!
Aha
You’ve got me! I didn’t specify.
It’s cause they have insufficient faith in the heart of the cards.
I played a lot of sludge warlock against a lot of plague DKs, while I eventually dropped fracking, I have a enough experience with that interaction (and waste transporter) to say that it is not a typical result.
What is more likely? The plagues are randomly shuffled, or the devs spent time to develop an algorithm that affects where the plagues/bombs/etc are put in the deck depending on a variety of factors?
Aside from the fact that 30-80% is a ridiculously large percentage range, start to track your games and give the P value.
Odd, i encounter the opposite effect as OP. So very frequently if anything negative is shuffled into my deck, the very next turn i topdeck it. Bombs in duels were the worst offender of this. To the point that i auto conceded against Rattlegore. But plagues are almost topdecked every time as well. Its gotten to the point that if i see a DK play one plague related card at all i concede and move on.
Stop, there is literally no point in arguing from the logic standpoint. Some people are just conspiracy brained and they won’t accept any proof that debunks their pet conspiracy.
Stop looking at plagues as a win condition. They aren’t meant to out right win you the game like Bombs. They are a way to impede your opponents deck and help you win through other means.
Did I at any point think or say I thought they should be a win condition? Maybe work on reading comprehension a bit.
Okay then what is your problem with them not drawing them all? Do you expect them to always draw them all each round when you yourself had them at about a 70% rate of draw. That other 30% will come into effect at some point.
Did I ever imply any of that? Is there a reason you keep saying things that had nothing to do with my post? I am truly curious how you come to these comments. Do you not have any reading comprehension and just type whatever tangent comes to mind?
Edit: I can’t stress enough how wild it is that you are just spewing out these things. This is like me saying “I like pancakes”, and you going off on a rant asking why I hate waffles so much.
Yeah, plagues are very inconsistent sometimes i shuffle 15 + plagues and opponnet doesnt draw them at all (its very frustrating) but sometimes they are drawn almost instatly.
Dont forget each time you play plagues it shuffle whole enemy deck, its very important for example against sludge lock.
Druid can play Nest and keep full hand and just burn your plagues and also druid have Aviana and Marin and photograpger … which increase pool of they cards which decrease chance to plague will be pulled out.
Oh God, the narcissism in this thread! It’s very annoying to read entitled posts like these…
The place of plagues when shuffled into the deck is RNG, however this RNG encompasses many factors just like Discover effects. That being, what is your current win/loss rate? If you have been losing more than winning, the algorithm will try to remedy that by nudging/forcing plagues to appear near/at the top of opponent’s deck. If you have been winning more than losing, the algorithm will try to remedy that by nudging/forcing plagues to appear near/at the middle or bottom of opponent’s deck. There are many more factors like this it takes into account.
Played a good bit of Plague DK this season and it seems fine to me. Some games I barely hit the plagues other games I’ll hit several in a row with only a handful of plagues shuffled it. It’s RNG, welcome to HS.
It’s almost like they are actually random!
Well, it goes hand in hand with conspiracy brain…
Sort of, the part you are missing is that this “random” you speak of is influenced by a whole host of factors (see: algorithm) such that this “random” you speak of is not really random at all and can even be predicted (if you are experienced and knowledgeable enough) when the game wants or decides you to win or lose, saves a lot of time if you can get to this point
Did you just learn what an algorithm was and decided to spam it every chance you get? The patent was for shooters and cosmetics advertisement, not for forcing losses. You have no idea what you’re on about.
