People who play aggro/face decks in casual

I just stay out of casual altogether because I’m not allowed to have fun since I like to win.

Why should they have to think differently about it? Some people just don’t like ladder.

Me? Those who know me can confirm I take decks on ladder most wouldn’t even take to casual. So if it’s taboo for meta decks to go in casual, I say delete it and make those whom imply just wanting fun to do it on ladder, like I do.

Then it should be taboo for meme/jank to be on ladder. Ladder is for real decks.

That’s also what I do for most classes since the new ranked system. And in my experience it’s quite good even. My problem with that is just that I don’t want to unlock golden heroes since you can’t disable them and I don’t really like them especially if I con’t have all of them simultaneously. And it’s indeed just not the same in casual. But I see how this is of course then a completely different problem for me. As I said I would never start such a thread but I can clearly see where they’re coming from.

I can see where they are coming from too, they just want to stomp actual fun decks with their almost meta decks.

If they were truly playing jank, their mmr would find them like minded opponents most of the time. Yet that’s not the case, which raises the question as to why?

No, it’s not cos they want to play against fun decks, they want to rofl stomp others with their strong decks! No sympathy from me.

Well, if that’s actually the case that would be totally different. I would absolutely agree with you. But can you be sure about that? What if they just wanted to have some fun? That their mmr would match them with like-minded opponent would be nice but I don’t believe this happens always. You might as well just face a bad aggro player that would still win just because the matchup is so polarizing. So I’m not quite sure about that. But I can now understand your viewpoint as well. But I can just say that not everyone is a “tryhard/spike”. But yeah, it’s very hard to tell whether or not someone is so fanatic about winning and uses that as a pretense trying to gain easy wins. That’s exactly why I would never start that discussion. And maybe I also shouldn’t participate for that matter.

I am sure enough to satisfy my needs, yes.

The complainers casual mmr didn’t get that high by accident, they were playing good decks that were at least competitive and are complaining about facing good decks themselves.

Oh, and that’s before we even consider those who use casual just to complete quests by throwing 30 random cards together and then have the gall to complain about facing meta. That’s as disrespectful as it gets to your opponent, Shakou, so you have no right whatsoever to complain about facing meta decks in casual. You’re not even trying to play the game on the first place!

(Not directed at you, Rubin)

(Wrong thread? I can’t even see them here…)

It’s still one way to play the game. The only problem is the power level of the cards and the deck itself via synergies. To be honest I’m not sure what could be done outside of better social features to meet with like-minded people. But at least that (social features) would be really nice for exactly that. Then you can just say to those people (like Shakou apparently) to find people to play with and make their own group. Technically we could still try to do it already now but it’s extremely cumbersome IMO. I mean the Blizzard group chat no one really uses and do you even get notifications in-game? It’s just not made for finding people and then go play a game of Hearthstone. With Discord it’s a little better but it’s still just not made for it. I think something like “guilds” is really what we need. At least then you could just point to that for those complaining about net decks in casual. You just need to find some like-minded people or look for an already existing group that suits your play style better.

Nah, right thread. Dude complains about facing meta in casual while not even trying to win, and he’s not the only one.

As for the rest of your post, yes absolutely agree, more could/should be done to promote social interaction. Wardrum, Lykotic and myself have put far more effort into building a community than Blizz has. That’s just not right!

Each and every one of those has applied to me at some point apart from 6, and I don’t appreciate being called a liar by someone who clearly for some unknown reason has a stick up his butt regarding aggro.

Class quests are multi option but there have been times where none of those options have been for classes I’ve had good decks for.

The rest of your post is incoherent nonsense, and I mentioned quest Mage not secret mage. I’m willing to bet I’m a far superior player to you if your ability to construct an argument is anything to go by.

The fact you are willing to call a stranger on the Internet a sociopath for their deck choice is completely pathetic, and frankly offensive. You know nothing about me. For example, I spent my entire savings bringing my cats home from Korea when I lost my job there, because they would definitely have died if I hadn’t. The act of a sociopath? Whatever, I’m not going to waste any more of my time trying to justify myself to you, just grow up OK?

No they aren’t. Try again. Emptying your hand indiscriminately is not a skill.

It is. Aggro decks should know when NOT to play all their minions or go face if their opponent has suspicious stuff. Aggro does require some skill to play.

Yeah, it’s so much more skillful not doing anything for 5 turns.

If you empty your hand indiscriminately, you aren’t going to ladder as aggro. There is more to playing those decks well than you’re giving credit for.

Seriously, the internal MMR matches you with players around your skill level.

You’re salty, I get it, but slamming aggro isn’t going to fix your problems.

I want to apologize to the OP for the player who left this malicious remark and say that I do sympathize with you, and support your right to vent here, even if you did call out aggro decks as somehow being less worthy of play. i play aggro.
For the players that feel the need to insult the OP? Particularly over his payscale, as though that were somehow indicative of character?
I say this:
How many of you have ever planted a tree in your life?
Cleaned a beach of plastic and trash?
Cured a person of Cancer?
Taught a child to read and write?
Saved a person’s life from a drug overdose?
Rescued someone from a burning building?
Gave a homeless person a bed, a meal, and a bath?
Yeah… That’s what I thought.

I did this, but I believe science and space exploration can benefit our planet and save us money more. Maybe it sound stupid to you, but reaching out into space can sometimes be better than digging holes in the yard and releasing Co2 into the air everyday. (we can extract minerals, find alternative ways of factories etc.) And we don’t need to necessarily stay in this planet in order to benefit/maintain it, even if you doubt we can survive another 50 years. Not staying on this planet doesn’t mean not benefiting it, just saying.

I have never seen you stoop to judging someone on here when you know nothing of them. That was my point. I’m tired of the retarded adolescence that exists on this forum and is tacitly endorsed by the regular posters if through no other mechanism than their silence.

I gave my opinion and answered your question. I did not say how bad your post were.

You misunderstand, I think. I liked your response.
I just was trying to explain that i meant it not so much literally, but as a way to tell others not to judge those that they do not know.
