People still complain about classes that are B tier

People complain about everything, in case you haven’t noticed.
You have one of the biggest hall monitors we have had in years on this thread, and he is also the worst abuser of the flag system as well.
That’s what happens when you have players who think they are infallible.
Only their opinions are valid, and all else should be silenced.
So tier 2 or whatever, if they lose to it, they will complain.

Press X to doubt

People are plenty dumb. The old joke is that the average person is fairly dumb. But by definition, “average” means there’s like half the population who’s dumber than that.

And like you said here…

…failing to control or account for the cognitive bias and other irrational habits in our monkey brains is a kind of dumb.

These habits are probably why even supposedly skilled/educated people can end up down some wingnut conspiracy rabbit hole. They might even be considered geniuses in one area, but that doesn’t mean they’re experts in every topic.

Begging your pardon, but why are my remarks being made parcel of this conversation?
It isn’t cognitive bias to observe what I did in my thread.
Please leave me out of your musings.

I mean, talking about OP’s title (even if his point about paladin being bottom tier is stupid), it’s not entirely wrong. I absolutely despise (and will BM) Reno Warriors, despite the fact that it’s a T4 deck. Is it a good deck? No not any more, but it sure is annoying.

I really loathe facing thief rogue.
I really wish team 5 had never given that deck to anyone.
Cards like Theotar would be gone were I in charge.

well, the good news is that thief rogue is sub-40% WR.

only rogue decks with positive winrate are the weird Sonya Griftah decks and Excavate (which is barely 50%)

That was the point of the thread. Thief Rogue is not powerful but players hate losing to it all the same.

People are getting the truth it’s just they do not like it and hence look for a sexier “truth”.

It was proved time and again that 2020 election wasn’t “rigged” or “stolen” yet millions of people still believe Donald Trump.

Lady Diana wasn’t killed by MI-6 yet there are thousands of people who believe it.

And I won’t even go into stupid crap like Holocaust conspiracies, JQ, great replacement, flat earth or the mother of all conspiracies: QAnon.

The world is too complicated for an average person to understand and lack of understanding breeds alienation. Alienation brings fear and fear leads to hate. Conspiracies provide easy answers to difficult questions, explain the alien and give validation to the hate.

We’ve seen it time and time again, now we see it in Great Britain, the process is well understood from sociological and psychological perspective. People need explanation of their problems and scapegoat to blame it on. And both gurus and conspiracy theories provide those.

Not that I don’t agree with you on almost all you said, but We shouldn’t discuss any of it here.
It leads to trouble. Trust me.

oh mal being a crazy alt-right alex jones guy makes a lot of sense actually, carry on

Fair enough but ultimately every discussion can end up in trouble when people have different viewpoints. We’ve seen how fiery discussions on WR or RNG can become.

lmao. You could not be more wrong if you tried.
I am farther left than Bernie Sanders, lol.
Once again, you prove you know nothing of the people you rush to judge.

It was proof that it wasn’t enough to change the result.
Those are 2 Very different affirmations.

Also it isn’t really possible to deny that many media services have in fact a side nowadays. So they are correct to change were they get their info.

This is the problem with people like you. Understand people reactions requires nuance even when the people who you disagree with have none.

Hahahaha, mate, the cope you’re going through is glorious.

Yes, election in 2020 was nothing special. You’re pretending that “stop the steal” was about people finding out that when million people vote every 4 years there bound to be some irregularities that do not influence the outcome means you are either uninformed or playing defence for the indefensible.

Ah yes, Fox became partisan recently while it was very balanced in the 90s and MSNBC was all for Reagan. Media became more partisan but they always were.

Ah, people like me… and that is?

I already gave you a nuanced take on how conspiracy theories are formed. But I guess it’s just the fault of “people like me”

Not recently. When the Fairness Doctrine was gutted, CNN and Fox were both created. Not as News outlets, which are still vulnerable to libel suits, but as Entertainment programming, which uses the loophole that they are just entertaining folks, and don’t have to be completely accurate, in the same way as the Daily Show. They get away with it by framing all of it as opinion.

look at these definitely related to the topic posts!

They are and you would clearly see how if you’d read the whole thread (not that you have to, just saying).

Just like people in the media have agendas they push regardless of the facts so do people on the forums. Despite how may evidence is being presented some people still deny reality and argue endlessly that HS is rigged. We have like 3 of those topics every week.
