I dont understand why Blizzard would give Paladin the Reborn quest theme…then only print 1 class card with Reborn that would fit better in a Mech deck than a Reborn deck.
There’s still about 50 cards left to be revealed (if the card library count is accurate and the expansion has the standard 135 cards). There might still be new Reborn cards that Paladin can use.
And only one paladin card left. It doesnt matter, the quest has VERY little internal synergy within the Paladin class at the moment with what we have seen.
And we can guess the last Paladin card isnt a minion (one of the cards has Finley solely in the picture with his weapon, so I am guessing spell or secret).
So…Paladin has one of class card of a new mechanic with a quest based around said mechanic. Bruh, do you understand how bad that it?
Yea there might! Lets look at the ones currently revealed:
Micro Mummy: Swordsmith isnt a good card. Let alone, you cant play this in the current iteration of mech paladin since reborn. Its gonna be played in quest deck, and only quest deck because…there is literally nothing else for them to play. (Not a sign of good design).
Murmy: Actually a good card.
Bone Wraith: Decent? Hard to judge but its going to be stronger in other stronger decks than in this one.
Wrapped Golem: Too slow. Also not that good in constructed.
Generous Mummy: LOL
Khartut Defender: Good target for Emperor Wraps…but still a defensive card.
Wasteland Assassin: You gonna play this over Zilliax? Reborn aint that good at 5 mana.
Guardian of the Moon: Will see more play from Conjurer’s Calling than in a Paladin deck.
The direction neutral reborns seem to be going is…mixed at best, and if the goal is to play suboptimal cards to get a hero power to make your suboptimal cards slightly better than its not going to be a good deck.
