P2w players get better rng

Been playing a lot of tickatus lock recently on legend ranks. Faced a lot of mirror matches. Mentioned that players with n’zoth portrait and/or custom coin gets better rng, they always get tickatus active earlier, burn better cards, I didn’t win a single mirror match against them while crushing ‘regular’ opponents with f2p portraits.
Also mentioned that you can’t emote-bm p2w opponents. when their portrait is exploding you are not able to send any emote, while to f2p you easily can. It can for sure be related to end of game session on server side but I doubt it.
I’m not even mad, just a bit sad that Blizz are that desperate pushing people to make a purchase.

P.S. to all the salty HS die-hard fans who’s gonna shout about my statistics not being correct, my ~20 mirror matches not representing the whole situation blablabla etc. Don’t bother, go enjoy the game, I don’t care about your messages, seen enough of those while creating previous topics about game scripts.

I’ll just call you a sucker for continuing to play a game you think is scamming you

You must walk through life spotting scams and then getting taken by them over and over again

Btw, someone has been trying to reach you about your car’s extended warranty, you should probably call them back

did you know the store is scamming you? they are applying something called “taxes”. that has to be something fishy because it contradicts my world view where everything always is free.

Its basic human nature to play a game that you know is rigged.

That’s why carnies make their money at fairs. You know the game is rigged against you but you also know the odds are not too impossible and you can win.

I personally actually never play fair games. Overpriced and, like you said, low chance to win. I’d end up shelling out $30+ to have a terrible chance at winning a stuffed animal I could buy at Walmart for $5

But I think even using Carnival games or even Vegas games as a comparison to what people think about hearthstone rigging isn’t a good comparison. Some people are claiming that instead of the game giving them the card they should have gotten, that an algorithm has switched it for a card that will make them lose the game

While everyone knows your odds in Vegas no matter what game you play can never be above 50% (I believe craps and blackjack are around 48% win chance when played perfectly), it still isn’t a scenario where the shuffle machine is literally taking away cards that would cause you to win the game during the shuffle

For example, if a couple face cards were removed from a 5 deck blackjack chute, all players’ odds of winning would drop by a couple percent. This is why there is a gaming commission to make sure that all the cards are there. And a little known fact is, as a player, you are allowed to inspect and count the entire 5 deck chute to ensure all the cards are there before you begin playing, and the casino has to oblige. People just don’t do it because it takes too much time

So someone saying that hearthstone is feeding them cards causing them to lose, would be like that same player sitting down to a blackjack table, then watching the dealer throw away 5 face cards, and still saying “ok deal me in”. Or watching the dealer throw away the ace that would have given the player a blackjack and replace it with a 2. Then still playing another hand after that

It’s insane and sad. Their only excuse should be “I let myself be scammed because I am addicted. I know there’s other card game alternatives that don’t cheat me but I have a psychological problem where I can’t quit”. And to those players I say: seek mental health help

It’s true from my point of view.
So i played since begining and stoped playing because F2P was not fun to play …and now i got back to see if they changed RNG for F2P… NO!!! rng for me is still BS compared to those who spent a lot of money in it… So spent like 3 days playing and… lol…

  • 10/10 plays my highest cost card was always in my hand at start…
  • Opponent burning my essential card with Patchwerk… lol
  • When I made a purchase my rng was better and after some time it got bad again !!!
  • Arena got me only normal and rare cards… my first 3 opponents got 2-3 legis (stoped playing Arena)
-Choices in Duels were good only for my 1st run and then again got realy bad…

I could go on but i will stop here and leave with my expirience above.

Blackjacks odds actually favour the player and not the house. The player, or an organized team of players, has to be pretty good at doing mental math though. And if you’re winning too much, a Vegas casino will ask you to leave.

In modern times, they’ll ask politely as security escorts you out the front door. In the old days, they’d ask you politely while a couple of low level mob goons beat the crap out of you in a back office, then they would escort you out the front door.

They don’t do that anymore, in fact you could tell the dealer the count and they won’t care. They typically just use a 6 deck shoe so that there’s still a house edge even with card counting due to the lower effect of removal.

You don’t get better RNG if you put money into the game. And why is there a sudden resurgence of a post that was created 3 years ago?

Like who would scroll through 3 years of Posts unless the person who replied to this post from a different account, is the original poster, considering they also agree with the whole theory that is beyond absurd.

Right? For BG I paid for the battlepass because of the awesome skins and put some extra money into the BG shop and yet I’m not feeling favoured. So theory dismissed and case closed lol
