Always been a big fan of White Rabbit.
I used to work part time selling men’s suits in a department store while going to university, and I had a coworker with whom I could carry on private conversations with, while working among customers, by communicating through film, music, and literary references.
He could sometimes be annoying in a way that younger brothers can be, and once when he was asking me a series of esoteric questions that I had no opinions on, or answers for, I said “Kevin, I don’t know, go ask Alice.” And he immediately replied, “when she’s ten feet tall?” He just instantly knew that I had just made a White Rabbit reference.
One of the best songs of my youth (19).
Crowded House really never did anything else for me, but oh, that song…
Here’s one from a band of that era that I loved in their day.
Annie is definitely an innovator. I know she’s done some touring with David Byrne from the Talking Heads.
I think she’s got some mad skills on this cover of one of my favorite Beatles songs.
This is my favorite version of a classic.
I’ve seen Pearl Jam 6 times. The first time was in 92’.
I’ve seen over 60 concerts and Pearl Jam was always a solid sometimes amazing experience.
I was huge into the Seattle sound as soon as it happened and just thankful the majority of the shows I attended were in the 90’s😀
Ok Mall
Here’s that guitar solo I mentioned to you.
Normally I would never double link the same song but here is Mike McCready, one of the most underrated rock guitarists imo.
This guy is an amazing guitarist without any doubt. Seen him from 3rd row once. He just tilts his head and then it’s amazing.
4:30 minutes into the song he goes into the zone.
That’s awesome:)
I love great guitar.

Amy has such an amazing voice. From Arkansas, like me.
My nephew introduced me to Seether some years ago.
Still have this one on my list today:

I can’t link it right now but the downtown was always a jam I loved back in the day
Felt like listening to the music that my Mom jammed to.
