I knew they lip synced performances, because you could just tell from watching them—Bobby Farrel was way to animated to be doing those moves and actually be singing—
and so many of their different performances sounded exactly like the released version of their songs, but I had not known that Bobby Farrel did not actually sing the parts on the releases.
This was one my favorite songs that I listened to while taking a short walk today:

I always loved Nancy Sinatra’s cover of Bang Bang, and it was a great inclusion in movie Kill Bill, along with Santa Esmeralda‘s cover of Nina Simone’s Don’t Let me be Misunderstood, and Charlie Feathers’s That certain Female.
