This issue has been around for several years, I am flabbergasted that it has not been fixed. I have recently reinstalled the app, to no avail.
Basically, when a content update is out (i.e. more than just an update in the Google play store), and I open the game while on Wi-Fi, the game always claims I have no internet connection and I must quit. This is happening with 100% accuracy. Something seems very off in Hearthstone’s ability to detect a Wi-Fi connection (I have tested with many different ones, public and private), and I just can’t understand why every other app on Earth can handle this.
Does anyone know more about this?
