Hello! I hope everyone is having a great day. I was curious to know if anyone knows whether the original 3 alternate hero portraits (Magni for example) will be available again in the future or if this is just a suspicion. I was not playing when they were available.

I am new (began at around the release of Scholomance). I missed out on almost all hero skins, too. However, I believe that hero skins should not be re-released as part of their prestige is to represent that the player using them played at the time of the sale. This signifies that the player is a veteran, for instance.
I do strongly feel that the most recent Jaina bundle and included skin should be re-released, however. Here is why (please read):

I have a theory about a possible re-release of the old alternate heroes. Some months ago we had the announcement of the new reward system, the battlepass. I think that Blizzard will give us an opportunity to unlock an old skin with the start of the battle pass. If you look at Out of Cards post about some ideas of what the new reward system could be, we have a choose a skin option that can be implemented or not at the new battlepass.
Could you please link me to that post? That’s honestly an idea I can get behind. Although, part of me feels those skins should remain exclusive to those veterans that purchased the portraits at the time so as to represent their veteranage… I am newer, missed out on those skins and would really like them! 
I think that old skins that was possible buy in th shop (no pre sale) will return someday
I despise that thinking. In my opinion all cosmetics should be available in the shop at all times.
But unfortunately it seems many think like you and Blizzard can exploit that so most likely it might never change much.
We’ll see, I’m not entirely adverse to the idea. As I said above. At this point I’d rather the skins be available than not. As a new player I missed the opportunity to buy any of them. I’ve changed my mind.
That is a really interesting theory! Thank you for your input, I also would love to get my hands on Magni as someone who loves the warrior class. I am slowly grinding my way to Golden Garrosh, (just broke 400 yesterday). I hope we hear more about this idea in the future

In my opinion only pre-order skins should remain exclusive. I think that skins purely sold at shop for 10-20 dollars (khadgar, medivh, magni, etc) can be re-sold without a lot of complaints of people who bought them in the past.
Magni is a really cool character, I would like to have a chance to buy khadgar too.
Hopefully we will get our chance to use those skins in the future! I agree with the pre-order exclusives although. That is more than understandable to keep those relegated to those who purchased them.

As you can see, Blizzard has been selling old card backs for 500 gold or 2.99 or 3.99 each, can’t remember exactly, I suppose they might release older alternate heroes the same way.
