Well, the honest answer is there is no BG wall for free 2 play. Free players constantly get in the 10k+ mmr range. If you’re hitting a wall, it’s a skill issue and nothing to do with how much money you’ve spent.

Can you post some guys who hit 10k? I don’t believe you I’m sorry bud. I’ve only talked to one guy that’s ever passed 10k and he was a pro so.
Go read from players who do it consistently while free to play. A simple Google search pulls up reddit threads.

Or how about you just go to Reddit, ask people what’s the highest MMR they hit as F2P. However, you’re likely not going to like the answers when they tell you they get high MMR.

Thanks for the conversation. I think the game is fun, but it’s definitely more of a casino based game. There’s not enough control to call it skill. Also understand that I’ve been stuck at this current MMR since the last time I paid five years ago, please don’t ban me but it’s true.

why do some minions just not exist in your bg games no matter how much gold you spend on them
I can’t ban you, I’m not a moderator, nor would I if I were.
I’m not really good at BGs myself, I usually hit at around 6k without trying. If you can’t get to 6k, you need to go watch streamers or play more to understand how to play the mode better.
If I put effort into it, which I am this season, I should hit 8-10k MMR. And that’s all while not being as good or as knowledgeable as someone else who plays more often. For example, I suck with Elemental and have never won a match 1st place with them.
That means anyone who understands the meta and how to play all the tribes will easily surpass me.

That’s why I started this whole conversation because I constantly played people at 8000 MMR in 10,000 MMR. That was the whole purpose of this thread. If I’m playing these people constantly why am I stuck at 6000?
That generally means a few things:
- Your internal MMR is higher than you currently are
- You’re playing at hours where people in your MMR are not available so you are getting the higher MMR players
If you are going to count buying the battle pass each season as P2W then ANYTHING you spend money on is Pay to Win end of story. It’s a ridiculous notion to call something pay to win that is only a few times a year and cost basically nothing. So again everyone that buys packs in standard each expansion with cash is Pay to Win by your own logic. the only true FTP player is one that grinds with the resources they get from gold and nothing else. Is that supposed to be some kind of Badge of Honor that you didn’t spend a dime on a luxury item? I suppose in your daily life you just magically get your essentially items for nothing?
If you think the price is too high then you shouldn’t be playing games to begin with.
That’s easy to answer. It’s the start of the season and high Rating players do not have enough players to play against yet and thus you are getting thrown in with them. Even late into the season the high Rating lobbies will be full of at least 50-75% of the players at or below 8K. There’s just not enough high rating players that exist to make full lobbies of those players.

Disagree. The battle passes 4 options is absolutely P2W. It offers a competitive advantage for cash only. That is P2W.
And its fine that it is P2W, the format is the most played and all they had to monetise it somehow. Just dont try and pass it off as F2P when they crossed the line when they removed the option to purchase the pass with gold.
