Ok warriors armor gain is getting out of control

ok i cant be the only one that feels a warrior hitting 30 armor by turn 3 is stupid? i do got a simple solution to this problem…who remembers the minion years ago with the battlecry destroy your opponents armor? i think its a well deserved time for that card to make a comeback…thoughts?

just keep pressure on them. they will suicide their minions into yours to keep their armor safe. So dont run a spell heavy deck against them

Tbh i see druids gain far more armor than warriors. seen a druid get like 150 armor. Poor dude ran out of cards tho

Also there is the platebreaker card that destroys armor if the armor really bothers you

yeah platebreaker is wild, thats true. i havent played or seen much protoss decks, but shouldnt zerg and terrans be able to pump out enough minions to do alot of damage to the warriors armor and keep it in under control?

if you draw good yea but if you draw bad their armor jus gets out of reach quick

id be more into wild but i am like many who disenchant their phased out cards to make new ones so i really dont have a collection beyond whats standard heh altho next time they do twist i may invest some cash and tinker with it

i disenchant alot too but i think disenchanting is far more effective when you stick to a few classes you like to play and disenchant everything else. I hate playing mage for example so i just disenchant any legendary or rare card it has when i need some dust.

But you probably like to switch classes and metas from the sound of it if you stick to standard

I think armor is balanced because to include it in your deck you have fewer minions and win conditions. But when decks like Druid can recur it many times it does get out of control.

Yeah, the armor gain does not scale to the amount of damage that can be done for this meta. They removed all good OTK and weakened mid game aggro that could have kept that in check. But now, someone can just out armor any amount of damage that can be done early game.

In wild I faced a Druid that got 3k + armor, but forgot what was the combo he used. If anyone has an idea, share.

yea i enjoy playing all classes for diff reasons but i understand if i truly hated a class id do the same lol

I think you are lucky to even see warrior. In my past 100 games since the starcraft addon, i encountered exactly 0 warriors

i see them prob as often as i see anything else now i see mostly zerg dk protoss mage or priest or terran war pal or shm in its many many forms that work well for now

Zerg DK easily chews through armor if you get lucky draws, had a match with a Terran warrior had 60 armor at full health, a couple blood taps, yodelers, reborns cleared his taunt wall and took a couple turns to rip through the armor, he ended emptying his hand before conceding. So yeah, zerg DK may be frustrating, but it’s one of few ways to counter the insane armor gain

only luck ive had against warrior armor decks is super powered colluses lol 18x2 and i used like 2-3 of them it didnt take long to burn all his armor down

thats probably it yeah atleast the druid that got tons of armor when i played against them used this
