I guess my bug is that the game thinks to have given me the quests and that I completed them at all the same time. So it’s like, “well done Diff, you’ve done your stuff. Next lot is coming in 6 days” or whatever. KEKWait! I haven’t game!
I haven’t received any daily or weekly quests and the quest screen doesn’t show the headers daily/weekly. Plis repair this bugg
Have not played HS for a long time, returned and no quests for me. So I guess OP hit the nail on the head. Thank you for looking into this issue
Doubt blizzard has looked into it, as far as we know they aren’t even aware.
This bug just kills all the incentive for me to play, the battlepass exp is bad as it is. I’m shocked this bug still exists. I’m wondering how they want to compensate the lost exp for us…
Really wish they’d fix or at least acknowledge the problem. They have a reddit post where they claim the hotfix solved the weekly issue (Nov 24th), and that people who were affected have been compensated and that they are moving on to the issues with dailies, but haven’t mentioned the weeklies problem isn’t fixed yet.
And submitting a ticket just gets them to tell you to post it here, where there are no responses at all about it.
Same here. Returned to this server after over one year. Now I cannot see any new quest. Expecting a fix.

Last week, we put out an initial fix for this issue, but we’ve found instances where the issue could still occur. We’re working on the fix to prevent all instances of this issue from happening in the future. We’re also aware that some players have missed one or even two weeks of weekly quests, and we’re in the process of identifying all affected accounts so we can provide the missing XP. Please be aware that the compensation may not happen until next week and may happen in different groups at different times. We’ll give updates as soon as any new progress is made.
Im also a "returning player " at least 8 months ! ive never even gotten a “returning hero” quest line ! …hope this dumpster fire is fixed soon !

Well as it states there’s a process where all affected accounts are trying to be identified I don’t think it’s of any benefit to keep adding repeating replies for whom it’s also happening to.
Nowhere does it mention the fact that returning players seem to be affected.
Returning players affected by this issue seem to be affected in a totally different way.
If the text you posted was correct, those players should at least be receiving their Weekly Quest, they are not.
The Blank Quest bar issue, which many of the people in this thread have cited, as not been acknowledged anywhere. And as such people should keep posting about as it’s clear from the very text you have cited Blizzard are not aware of the problem these users face.
And it is incredibly annoying. I’ve been in contact with Support through my tickets and I’ve spoken to 6 different GM’s. EVERY SINGLE ONE has confused my issue with other ques log issues linking me to “hotfixes” that have already fixed the problem…
They haven’t even acknowledged my problem being different even though I put it in all caps multiple times and have linked screenshots. So honestly I’m not sure whether or not they know/are working on our specific issue.
Oh and btw my quest log is STILL completely blank
ikr, for a company that has been repeatedly condemned for their awful communication, you think affirming, either in a ticket or through a blue post, that our bug exists and they are aware wouldn’t take this long.
4 tickets here, and in none have they actually confirmed my (our ) bug.
Yeah, the longer it goes on the more I can’t look away from the car crash. The longer they go without just saying “we’re looking into it” (at minimum) the worse they look and yet they haven’t had one person type those four words on their behalf.
is this unique to this bug ? i mean post screen shot of the blank quest bar or send it in a ticket
if this is unique to this bug and doesnt show up on the other bug stopping people from getting quest this could make them realize is a different bug
The bug patch does not address the bug that is affecting returning players that I’ve described. It is addressing a completely different bug. How do I know? Well, they said they fixed it and it hasn’t been fixed for us, lol. And the process they describe of “identifying affected accounts”, they specifically state it’s for the purpose of compensating missed XP, not for the purpose of fixing the bug. There is a LOT of benefit for people adding replies that it is still affecting them or from new people that it is affecting them and I don’t know why you’d want people to stay quiet about it.
I’ve not done a thorough investigation, but I believe those affected by other bugs do not have a Quest bar which is completely blank. People have posted images of the Blank Quest Bar already. Putting in a ticket, only succeeds in getting an automated response to post your problems in the Bug Report Forum.
Yup, there seem to be several different bugs revolving around missing quests. Blizzard seems to be consistently confusing our problem (Blank Quest Logs) with what seems to be a much more common problem of people not getting quests when their timer says they should.
OR they are not confusing it and are just choosing to not communicate that they recognize a difference between the bugs and are currently trying to fix ours.
Either option isn’t very comforting to be honest…

Still no quest, just empty boxes.
