I did all my quests many weeks and now, this day I haven’t received any (weekly / daily) quests after patch. It’s the same via pc and phone
I am also not getting any new quests
Returning player here as well (returned 11/19/2020); quests tab has been and still is completely blank. Really unfortunate for a returning player to try and play standard without a means of obtaining new cards to make decks/dust via the quest system.
The theory seems logically deduced and valid to me, it is disheartening to see nothing being objectively done regarding this bug.
As for my experience, this theory is valid… I returned to the game one day before the new expansion after months, did get my first quest which was related to the Duels mode iirc, but after that no new quests for returning players to complete so we can then get are daily and weekly quests… The sad part is that no dev is replying or addressing this issue seriously cause its just funny how quests are so important to progress in the rewards track, yet no one is fixing it… Thanks for helping us not liking blizzard even more

Making my daily post to say that I still have a completely blank quest log
I’m not at all, we have nothing to base any assumptions on because they don’t communicate well.
Not all the bugs they’ve acknowledge are consistently put on the forums. Don’t act like you can just assume people are defending Blizzard. Again I repeat, act with some civility here.
I haven’t received any daily or weekly quests and the quest screen doesn’t show the headers daily/weekly. Just a blank window.

His assumption was based on Blizzard didn’t acknowledge it, or in your words “they don’t communicate well”. The fact that they don’t acknowledge it is already something to base on.
Of course no one is sure what is the mess happening within Blizzard, and therefore we assume until they give us an answer. We don’t “assume” if we are sure. Do you understand?
And I love how you say you are not defending Blizzard, while saying the bug is “something with too low of an impact to fix”. Mr. civility and maturity.
This bug won’t hurt me anymore because I have deleted the game. Good luck to other returning players playing with no gold with civility.

So I’ve been consistently submitting tickets for the past 5 days (since waiting isn’t getting us anywhere), and today a GM got back to all of my tickets with the same seemingly autogenerated response with one exception:

As of week of November 23, some players are still experiencing issues with new quests not being pushed to them daily or weekly. The Hearthstone team is aware and is working on a fix. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Since it was once more cloaked in so much autogen nonsense that I couldn’t tell whether this targeted our problem, I have asked for confirmation on that but if it does, that means they finally stopped denying the problem exists and might finally have started working on it.

I think there are multiple quest related bugs going on. One of them effects returning players specifically… but I think there are other bugs effecting other players as well. Though I am curious, do you have a completely blank quest page, or do you still get the new quest in “x days” thing that shows up in the quest slots?

If you are new to Hearthstone, or you are returning after a long absence, you will need to complete the New and Returning Player Experience before you can do daily or weekly quests.
*You can have up to four daily quests and another four weekly quests active at one time. *
*You will be given a new daily quest every day at midnight (server time), if you have an open slot on your quest log. Similarly, you will be given a new weekly quest every Monday, if you have an open slot. *
If a new quest is not received after 48 hours try the following:
Reset your account password
Change the language for Hearthstone in your game settings
Change the region you are logging in to
Log in to Hearthstone, and stay logged in for at least 5 minutes, then exit the game, and log back in once again.

Oh and I still have a completely blank quest log…
I did not return, I played for a long time. So I don’t fall under the condition in this assumption. I didn’t get a daily quest once, with weekly quests so far everything was fine. It seems to me that the problem lies deeper, the system somehow counts the player receiving the task without actually receiving it.
I hope Blizzard solves this problem and it would be great if they compensated with an additional quest for at least one lost for the affected players.
If you get weekly quests and the quest in “x days” dialog, I think you’re suffering from a different bug. There appears to be multiple quest related bugs.
Exactly, returning players have the completely empty quest board, except for “the win2 duels” and “win 3 duels” quests after the update.
The supposed hotfix of 24/11 didn’t solve it either, I bet they aren’t even aware of the issue. Atleast I still haven’t seen any mention of our specific case, which if it affects all returning players isn’t that specific, one would think.

I have this one. Like: “Next weekly in 6 days” type of thing and I have a daily slot that says next one in 24 hours.
Then you have a different bug then the one experienced by most of us in this thread. We have completely blank quest logs with no headers or timers and none of us have gotten a SINGLE QUEST since we have returned. It seems like there are a bunch of different bugs going around right now which makes it all the more confusing for us and Blizzard.
