Yeah that’s great and I’ve seen him/her consistently crap all over people too for bringing honest gripes and concerns about his/her sacred cow of a game with an air of pretentious smugness.
Check the response to OP who is trying to clearly offer suggestions and not some crazy conspiracy theory… “as for your theory: this is a bug report forum, which is for as it sounds: reporting bugs. if you want to speculate you are ofc free to do so, but it should be done in the appropriate forum, in this case probably the community forum”
OP posted a bug report on the bug report forum, offering ideas on what may be happening and Pev feels the need to attack their intelligence and their idea as conspiracy. Absolutely no need for either.

Why would any one think OP is wrong in suggesting a reason. Bug reports if possible contain steps on how to produce a bug. What a silly thing to say in a bug report forum.
New patch still no quests. Shadowlands is going to launch and I won’t have gotten to play hearthstone. As I have been waiting for quests. Feelsbadman

It’s an actual bug though, he has it, I have it, and I bet any returning players who didn’t finish that questline before the latest patch has it too.
He wouldn’t have to theorize if blizzard tested this scenario, which I’m willing to bet they didn’t.

This is completely untrue. The only thing I added in the post was the EDIT: section. You can click on the edit icon on the top right of the post and see for yourself.
I like how you say you shouldn’t devalue a comment by name calling and immediately call this entire threat “tin-foil hatted assumptions”. The fact is, we have no idea what Blizzard is working on or if this information is useful and there is absolutely no harm in making this information visible. And as far as I am concerned, the fact that people aren’t getting the Returning Player quests, and that a player had in fact had theirs completely overwritten by the new version, is extremely important information to make as visible as possible. There’s absolutely no harm in making this thread to make that information visible.

My point would be that this is on the edge of what’s acceptable for a bug report forum. Allow more of these and it no longer is a bug report forum.

The fact that I’m willing to bet they didn’t test that scenario isn’t a “tin-foil hatted assumption”, I would call it an educated guess based on the fact that multiple people in our situation have the exact same symptoms and having worked in companies that develop software, they are not infallible and bugs happen.
Still seems like a major oversight that’s easily verifiable and I haven’t seen any blue confirmation about.
I don´t have any quest since the begining of the expansion!!!

Could have been a rushed deadline too. Something with too low of an impact to fix before launch etc, there can be more reasons.
Certainly not enough of a reason to accuse people of shilling in this thread if you disagree with them.

If they did in fact test for that, they could atleast acknowledge the bug somewhere, which they haven’t.
Don’t act like blizzard is some shining light in this milking machine that is the gaming industry, there have been plenty of examples in the recent past showing that not to be the case.

Anyway, this is all pointless banter. I am sure Blizzard can police their own forums. I don’t think they need either of you to do it for them. If anyone thinks this isn’t an inappropriate topic, flag it and get a mod to review it, and let’s move on.
For that matter, nobody pointing fingers at Blizzard or anyone else and making accusations at them is doing anybody any favors either. Let’s get back to talking about the actual bug, please.
It’s ridiculous that the daily quest bug hasn’t been fixed by now. Especially because quests are the main way to earn XP in the new rewards system.

Shadowlands tomorrow 0 progress on battlepass 
I’ve been logging in to hearthstone and playing games for the last 5 years without any big break so I’m not a returning player at all
and like many others I did not recieve new weekly quests yesterday(it says new quest in 7 days in all 3 fields) and on top of that I didn’t get a new daily quest either
if that’s not a known issue to them…
also I really do hope they compensate for this cause it’s a big exp loss, especially for casual players

I’m not a returning player, been playing this game since it came out and I didnt get my daily and weekly quests this time around. I really hope they fix this since it’s the main source of xp for this new reward track.
