What do You think which card expansion will be after “United in Stormwind”?
In my opinion a Year of the Gryphon should end with the neutral card expansion. It started with the set “Forged in the Barrens” (for the Horde), then we played “United in Stormwind” (for the Alliance).
Afterwords we could play the neutral set, which could belong for both fractions, for example - “Shadowlands”. Completely new afterlife world, new cards, new heroes for raiting, duels and battlegrounds (like: Jailer Zovaal, Arbiter, Winter Queen, Drust Darkfront Reaver, Mueh’zala and Tirnenn from Ardenweald, Steward Mikanikos and Kyrestia from Bastion, Sire Denathrius and Stoneborn General Draven from Revendreth).
Also there could be an interesting adventure like “Ashes of Outland”, “Saviors of Uldum” or “Rastakhan’s rumble”.
Or another idea for neutral card expansion - “Legion” Broken Isles and Broken Shore. New characters for raiting, duels and battlegrounds (like: Huln and Mayl Highmountain taurens, the Nightborn Grand Magistrix Elisande and First Arcanist Talyssra, Mechagnome Gelbin Mekkatorque, Prince Erazmin and King Mechagon, Argus and Aggramar from Antorus raid and others heroes).

We have to see where the mercenaries story goes. I’m guessing it’s going to be Tavish defending the dwarven district, Varden escaping prison, Cariel fighting Tamsin, Brukan helping them escape by boat and Scabbs finding out the truth. Since FitB was horde-focused and UiS was alliance-focused, for sure the third will be neutral, my bet is on Alterac Valley.

Thank You for answer! It’s also very interesting supposition about Alterac. I think that soon (maybe in first days of November) we will see info about new expansion. For example Blizzard represented “United in Stormwind” at first day of July. Have a nice day!

I would love the next expansion to be based on Hillsbrad Foothills, the battles around that area during the early days of wow was so much fun… clearly it won’t be that though.

With Diablo appearing everywhere, it wouldn’t surprise me if the next one will be Tristram, hehe.
Frosty, I remembered one picture, which Blizzard team posted when the year of the Gryphon started. There were a metal circle and flying feathers around. I decided that it could be an Oribos. And at that moment I thought that a next card expansion will be about Shadowlands.
i hope they do something crazy like the gadgetzan crime family sorta stuff.
