So, the new Hooktusk is for a sort of Pirate-Burgle Rogue.
But this literally takes things.

Is this real?
Summoned pirates…you don’t even have to play them.
This is ridiculous.
They managed to make something more annoying than Tickatus. Way more annoying.
EDIT: Can someone clarify…do you get all 3 treasures or do you get to only choose 1?
Please tell me it’s not all 3.
Burgle and deck disruption all in one card. Play this after Kaz to steal 5 treasures from their deck. This could be fun.
Tickatus comes to Rogue! LMAO !
Original hearthstone design philosophy was to minimize/eliminate feels bad moments. All this card creates is feels bad moments.
Makes that new 5 mana Summon 2 Pirates spell more interesting.
It is choose 1, pray shadow step is removed from the core set.
Ok…it’s 1 of the 3 not all 3 as far as I can tell.
That’s a lot better…I thought it was all 3 and was freaking out.
It looks really cool. I don’t know how easy it is to summon 8 pirates before it can come down on curve. It’s interesting to speculate whether 2 cards from hand or 5 from deck is better. It is situational, but I feel like 2 cards from hand might be better more often than it is actually picked
Looking forward to the tier 4 Meme Rogue that people will cry about and scream nerf.
If I pull this from a pack, I may try to play Rogue in Standard.
This and other cards make me wonder if anyone is safe on the seas of Azeroth. Two classes have pirates. Murlocs exist. Naga exist. Where is the Alliance Navy?
Yeah, it looks crazy, and indeed it would 100% be if you got all 3 like I originally thought because it didn’t specify to choose.
But now that it is only 1, this will be maybe a Tier 3 deck at best…unless a pure pirate build has some crazy tempo.
Did fatigue lose its foot or ignite stomped on it?
Is Rogue a better Warlock?
If the universe is so big, why won’t it fight me?
Such confuse, much debate.
the ones who were celebrating tickatus is about to rotate must be in shock now after finding out about this card !
To be clear, Azsharan Vessel is still 100% pure garbage that shouldn’t even be poked at from distance let alone disturb it.
I kind of like this card. An actual deckbuilding requirement (8 is a lot even if you’re using that new spell), a body that doesn’t come with “win board free” written on it, and a mix of devastating but survivable effects that focus on Rogue-themed disruption.
Looks strong, yet also kind of a fun, and not “oh he got Kazakusan guess I lose now” levels of lethality for an endgame bomb.
Edit: however this furthers my suspicion that Shadowstep must be gone, because that would take this straight from cool to infuriating and dumb for them to be able to take away another 2 cards from hand each turn.
This looks really strong and fun to play but they gotta pull shadowstep out of the core set with this in standard.
Actually, because it’s only 1, I’m not even sure that’s good enough to make pirate rogue viable.
Sure, 1 is still pretty good but is this worth building an entire deck around ? I don’t think so.
Even for wild standards, which has a ton of good pirates, you’re typically interested in playing aggro, which means an 8 mana 8/8 is terrible in these decks. There’s no reason to play anything but aggro with pirates.
Well, for those of you calling for a Kazakusan counter…here you go! Your treasures, eh? I like those. I think they’ll be MY treasures.
We all knew she was coming again from the trailer alone.
Im realy not a fan of Pirates but this is 8 mana i can live with that , also i dont get some of the complains i see here, non stop complains asking the devs for disruption well they did just that with this card.
Be careful what you wish for.
