It looks like Priests will be getting support for spell based decks this expansion. The cost reduction works well with corrupt spells like Auspicious Spirits.

Primordial Glyph for Priest
It’s fair. 3 mana to discover a Spell is highly overpriced (that’s worth 1 mana: Shadow Visions was worth 2 mana because you had control over its Discovery pool, and Renew does a Discover for 1 mana with an additional benefit). Paying an additional 2 mana to reduce the cost of all Spells in hand by 1 is pretty fair.

Another busted and obnoxious spell priest doesn’t deserve. Just pray around stuff lol.
I’m starting to hope weapon based decks persist into broken territory so stuff like this is never allowed to be meta.

Hey remember how Mage has a cheaper spell than this that doesn’t discover, but mana cheats every spell in the deck? Remember how good that is? Yeah, I don’t think this one is going anywhere, either.
Everyone just wants to forget that Priest has to, like, live and stuff. 3 mana basically do nothing this turn is not strong.

Priest will play this. It has a nice effect to discount your hand while getting a spell. Sort of like a prime glyph for priest but slightly worse.

Yeah this thing is going to see a ton of play. I wonder if people are going to make combo decks with this.

Clearly there are different designers for each class and it’s pretty obvious that none of them talk to the others at all. Apparently mage got the panhandler out in the parking lot to design it’s cards.
This expansion is going to be lopsided and biased.

I think this is closer to shadow visions. That card didn’t discount anything, does nothing to board, but it sets you up for a later turn.
Where shadow visions is good to setup specific combo (IF combos), this is preparing for a spell spam turn
If you want a spell that discovers something for cheap so you can play it immediately, that’s what renew or cleric of scales are for.
The one time curving this on 3 might be useful is if you have both cabal acolyte and wave in hand, so you can yoink something on 4.
Yes it will include the discover card
This card seems pretty good so far. 3 cost is a high price to pay, but the reduction in hand helps you play your bigger spells faster.
