Another strong piece for my Psychozoo theorycraft, works very nicely with the new 3 drop that gives you two 1/1 taunts in hand, T6 drop this and the two taunts and that’s going to be very difficult to deal with for a lot of classes.
This thing definitely feels like it wants to be played with lots of small minions to give maximum value, also Sand Drudge becomes genuinely frightening with this on board.
Not something to builld your deck around as it’s a legendary, but a strong card if your deck can naturally make use of it.
Err, yes? That’s why I noted the distinction. The devs could have easily set it to on play only, and sucky unplayable (legendary) cards is already a thing.
The whole thing is a bit unclear (not really the right words, but context pls) so does need to be clarified. All played minions are summoned, not all summoned minions are played.
Some ppl do believe that played minions are not summoned minions, so to speak, which is why clarity is needed.
(not giving you a hard time or anything, its simply true.)
Nah, it’s an established difference. From HS wiki:
All minions are considered to be “summoned”. However, only minions played directly from the hand are considered to have been “played”. Card text which states “plays a minion” therefore refers only to the direct playing of a minion from the hand, while “summons a minion” can refer to a minion being summoned by any means.
Pretty sure every instance of a card saying “whenever YOU summon a minion” the act of playing one is included as well, a la Knife Juggler and Crypt Lord.
Pretty much what I said. All played minions are summoned, but not all summoned minions are played.
Like I said, not giving you a hard time, but its one of those “does a minion hit the board before or after its BC” type of things which some people simply dont get (or do the research on).
Anyway, we alll seem to know what is meant for now, so lets not derail any further. It did need to be clarified tho imo.
Very hard card to evaluate until we see it in action. You can probably do very very broken things post-Thaurissan in Wild. Seems like it’s either the win condition for a draw deck or chaff, but I could be wildly off-base.
Yeah, with shadow vision, we talking about other level of DSIF priest there.
Tho, since we see how fast aggro in wild, and how nasty cyclone mage there, with the usual suspect of big priest and warlocks. This theoretical DSIF priest need to be proven first.
This looks fun. I’m thinking more a base 1/7 lightwarden, Cleric, Vivid Nightmare and such. Could be a scary card in tempo priest, even if you try to weaken it they just Circle of Healing and keep going.
I like it. It’s a shame it’ll probably be seen as an OTK card.
