New Paladin Legendary Minion: Sir Finley of the Sands

With all that targeted draw, you don’t need no dupes.

Yep… This might be the worst one and most unreliable one too.

  1. Reno without question best one. Dyn-o-matic is insane, one of the main power behind Warrior’s dominance.

Control, aggro Tempo, Bomb, Mech’thun, Taunt Warrior it’s all powered by dyn-o-matic.

  1. I’m currently favoring for Hunter’s “aggro Highlander” deck. Not sure how this deck will look like. I initially thought it was worst one… But there are even worse. Nevertheless, cheating out King Mosh is no joke.

  2. Elise… It’s not good. Definitely relying on many other important cards.

  3. Finley … Looks like a RNG fiesta dream/meme card. Just like Elise needs significant support from other cards.

You all realize Angler can pull this?

It’s bad for Murloc Shaman to get after they play Hagatha and have no dups.

More Oddly enough Shudderwock will randomly switch the HP.

Blizzard better pray that another meta phases out Warrior’s bomb cards, because if not, RIP this card.

Its a good effect and it can come out on turn 2. The only question is can Paladin make a decent Singleton Deck. Its also probably the only playable Legendary of the No duplicate bunch because it can come online before Bombs pollute your deck and shut it off unless Bomb Warrior gets pushed out.

If you’re lucky enough to get it before the bombs start piling up.

It’s definitely interesting, but probably not good enough as the only payoff for a Reno deck, considering you could get a choice of 3 mostly irrelevant powers for the matchup.

Uh god your right, that is kind of kelesethy.

Hmmm, if you get to play this early then the effect is great, you’re usually pretty ok with paying 2 for an upgraded hp, gives your deck a lot of flexibilty and value generation, but is it worth running a Highlander deck for? Particularly as you’re not guaranteed to draw this (in fact you won’t in plenty of games, or he’ll arrive so late that you’ll only get a tiny amount of value before the game is over.

The fact that bomb warrior basically closes down all the Highlander archetypes is flipping hilarious too, I can see bomb Warrior getting nerfed post expansion if noone is willing to play the new cards, which genius a T5 missed this interaction, unless they are some sort of twisted sadists and are hoping the ladder becomes wall to wall bomb/control warrior playing 30 minute games Facelessing and brewmastering each others Elyssiana’s!

Good news is that if you really want to maximize this, you can get the odds of having it out by turn 5 above 50% if you avoid 1-2 cost minions and run a call to adventure and witchwood piper.

Going first and hard mulliganing for one of those 3 cards would give you about a 56% chance of having either Finley, or a card that draws Finley in your opening hand. Going second, that goes up to ~66%. The odds get significantly better as you play through to turn 5.

The fact he is so cheap helps a lot with getting him in hand early in the game, if that’s your goal.

You could easily be offered 3 Hero Powers you don’t really care about.

The new quests look more appealing.

I thought we needed something dumb like 20,000 posts read? That’s why I figured I didn’t have it.

Hold up, why am I not at 3? Is it because I was banned for “a foul word”?

The only hero powers I can think of that you may not want are priest or warrior

Baku couldn’t stay away from standard I see. Very boring design.

It’ll be a bit more manageable since it’s a battlecry minion now.

And random discover. You can’t build your deck around the options you’ll get.

I hope the paladin quest reward is stargazing (your hero power costs 1 less, you may use it twice per turn)
