So I haven’t played for a while.
Playing against a paladin.
On turn 6 the paladin plays the “I WIN CARD.”
Zilliax 3000
Taunt card that splits in two and does 8 damage and doubles it damage on every turn.
So on the paladins next turn, both cards do 16 damage for a total of 34.
What is the game play? What is the defense against this?
You can tell how dead this game is getting because of stuff like this because hardly anyone uses the forums anymore except the “regulars.”
There are more than a few ways to deal with that by turn 6, depending on your class and what’s in your deck. You can silence with Deafen, kill both with Flik Skyshiv if you’re playing rogue, poisonous minions with rush/taunt, to name a few. By no means is that an I WIN card
No he used only two modules. I think he played against Handbuff Paladin, that’s why the stats are so high.
Back on topic: Yes Handbuff Paladin is a very strong deck and probably one of the best in the current meta. Beating them means usually to either outspeed them or use a lot of removal. Zarimi priest has a very good winrate against it.
That’d explain stats, perhaps, but not taunt. Thus, I mentioned 3 or 4, not 4.
You forgot to mention one small bit, which also makes it stand out: this has been the case for so many expansions that I’ve lost count.
Yet another set has been released? No matter, just play the same old deck, perhaps with minor replacements.
Ugh…
‘Treating’ the issue of handbuff paladin — annoying even in Twist (!), to think of it — with the satanic goat Zarimi is like displacing flu with covid, if you ask me.
