As a Hunter main, that secret should be at least 3 mana…at least.

Really? It’s cool definitely and decent, I suppose, especially in the early game when you have cheap minions on board. But in late game when you most likely have bigger stuff, this secret won’t do much. Unless it copies some powerful Deathrattle minions.
Is there something obvious that I am missing here?

Imagine a 3/3 copy of Scavenging Hyena followed by UtH.
Granted, this won’t happen often but the moment it does…
…remember Spellstone? The Hunter hate is already starting…
Yeah, perhaps you were missing the copying of deathrattles, a 3/3 minion for 2 cost that copies effects as well, hunters aren’t running cheap nothing minions at the moment (a 3/3 poison dragon would be ridiculous to copy) etc etc.
Look at the list of minions. A copy of nearly any one of them is crazy good for 2 cost.

Updated post to add Hellboar.
Especially when you factor in Animal Companion…Zuljin for Wild players, not to mention the rest of Hunters Secret package.
On the flip side…
Hopefully the rest of the xpac proves just as powerful and Hunter doesn’t dominate once the metagame is stable.
I did think of that. But what would be the powerful Deathrattle minions you want to copy? Savannah Highmane is not one I would consider exciting, even if it decent I suppose.
For those who are to lazy to scroll up, Hellboar is a 1 mana 2/1 beast whose deathrattle gives a random beast in your hand +1/+1.

Goddangit, I’m tired, let me edit that.
Who the heck is running Savannah Highmane? And even if they were, for 2 mana gain a 3/3 and 2 2/2’s is insanely good.
A 3/3 copy of Faerie dragon, phase stalker, primordial explorer, evasive feywing, any animal companion, ursatron, dragonbane, the list goes on and on…and these are small to midrange minions.

Budget decks, probably. Thank god Play Dead rotated out.
I did say the secret would be good for early- midgame minions. Not so much so for late game minions unless they got powerful Deathrattles, I don’t think.
But then again Hunters tend to want to end the game fast so maybe I am grossly underestimating the card. 
I didn’t even go into late game minions. The late game deathrattle minions are absolute monsters as well. The prime is a good target for early game as well, totally left that out.
What about the taunt deathrattle that summons another 7/7? Jesus. This card is ridiculous.
