New hunter cards revealed(wronchi)

I don’t play hunter very often, but these seem bad.

death roll and sasqwuack seem fun. i dunno seems okay to me

The sasquawk card seems pretty good and I’m sure theres some busted interaction waiting to be found with it. The other cards seem incredibly overcosted like all the other class cards aside from rogue and warlock.

Not sure where hunter is supposed to go with these cards though other than some boring reno deck and I think everyone is sick of reno anything at this point.

Not sure what hunter deck wants to play this. Reno is dead because 10 mana reno will be pretty unplayable. So I dunno what cards you wanna replay. Some kind of token egg hybrid? I’m not sure it’s gonna be even remotely playable.

The one thing I thought of was replaying stranglethrone vale… but thats a) really slow and b) you want your vale to kill your opponent the turn you play it

It looks like theres a bunch of hand buff cards coming in warrior so mabye it can be used to set up a massive stat bomb turn

Nobody can tell me Sasquawk’s effect makes any sense in Hunter.

It curves perfectly after their titan to get even more weapon buffs on it. That alone is worth a consideration.

It also works well with jungle giants, can be an extra mukkla or king plush…

There’s a good number of ways hunter can use that.

Still, the effect should attribute the class.
Since when is Hunter meant to replay their stuff? This doesn’t fit Hunter at all.

They’ve done it a few times.

Zul’jin replayed all your spells.

Their current legendary spell replays all their expensive beasts.

It’s not like Hunter has never had something like this.

Zul’jin made ten times more sense for giving replayability to Hunter. This bird looks like complete filler and a lazy redesign of an already overused effect across many classes.

It doesn’t even synergize with anything shown.

Let’s be specific here, it won’t reproduce battlecries. So that’s an extra mukkla without bananas, and a king plush without the board clear effect.

And just to continue your example:
Would you ever play a 7-mana 4/5 accompanied with just mere stats in today’s game? No.

The only saving grace would be a 10-mana spell like Nagrand Slam, but nothing like that exists.
…
Have all the reveals happened? Does anyone know if there is a chance for a non-targeting expensive spell to be revealed for Hunter? Else, someone remind: What class does Hunter tourist to?

Really bad example.
Hunter’s TITAN has 0 board impact. You mean to tell me you’ll play this to get another add-on to your weapon for 7 mana?

This works way better with Aman’thul which actually has board impact. I wouldn’t play this in Hunter for the TITAN. It’s an effect definitely not worth 7.

It does xD

It’s literally equip a weapon and give it a buff which lets you impact board

This way, you can get 2 buffs on that weapon

That’d be the Warrior xD

When replayed effects like Battlecries don’t get replayed.
The board impact the Hunter TITAN can have after being replayed: is to just cast one of the three abilities on your weapon. That can’t be worth.

In this scenario, it’s even better it doesn’t proc battlecries, because then your original weapon doesn’t get replaced with a new one, so you get to keep 2 buffs on it

So you can have a 5/2 weapon with “immune while attacking” and “Summon a 3/3 taunt after attacking” at the same time, + 2 titans on board xD

Probably whatever big warrior gets tomorrow for replaying.

Yeah, in Disneyland that’s possible.

But would you ever run this 7-cost card in a deck that otherwise would run Aggramar as their end finisher to seal the deal? Probably not.

As for a Big Hunter list or something like that: This is situational and doesn’t even have the impact you would expect from a situational card like it.
