I guess that’s one way to stop snowfall guardian… Silencing all your minions sucks a lot for Paladin, though…

isnt it sad that the first thing that pops into our minds on an aoe, both sides, silence is that we can now bypass freeze on our own side lol.
as for acual card review: meh, it’s a tech card. it can be good or bad solely depending on the meta and nothing else.

Crazy to think they HoF Spellbreaker less than 2 years ago. Poor paladins and priests, will get crushed by aggro.

This card alone is going to kill tons of decks.
Buff Paladin, Colossal decks, deathrattle decks, virtually any value deck. We’re going to see tons of this minion…
This is a 4/5 card pushing 5/5 to be meta defining.
Goodness…the more I think about this card the more decks it just crushes. And something like Control Warrior might even run this.
Looking at the top decks…this card hurts nearly all of them. Which begs the question, which deck runs this? I’d say every deck might run this because it can really kill the opponent’s tempo.

If this is not a 5 star card i dont know what is.
We just need to go by past balance changes even Hex got nerfed to 4 mana, this card will see a ton of play.

that is one of the strongest techs ever probably? mass dispell for all and everyone. and with the beast tag might even see targeted drawing and the likes if need be.

I’m not so sure. I think it will be dependent on the meta. If decks Quest Hunter are defining the meta as some people assume it will, you probably won’t see this a ton. I don’t think this gets auto shoved into 9 out of every 10 decks a week or two into the expansion. At the start, definitely.
It is a weird fit for an expansion that’s showcasing giant minions with abilities, that’s for sure.

Paladin Headquarters right now
“Guys, we have a problem. Half the cards in our deck are minion buffs. I know everyone is freaking out about Smothering starfish. All we need is someone to teach us how to do things other than buff minions, does anyone know how Hearthstone actually works?..anyone?”
It’s so crazy it might even see play in Quest Hunter or some other aggro deck. Just play this, bypass taunts and go face.
I’d say 7 out of 10 decks might be running this…that might be a tad high, possibly 6 out of 10 decks. But still…that’s a lot.
I can see this getting nerfed to 4 mana fairly quickly. This just sets up so many problems. Every game is going to be baiting this minion out.
This could be fun in those little dragon Lady Prestor decks. Silence your cheap dragons to give them their original stats.

While on paper this looks bad for paladins, my gut feeling is that paladins will just find another way.
Early Barrens paladin had secret aggro decks that didn’t rely on librams or buffs. They used core Alex and conviction as burst finisher. Oh and battlemaster is always welcome.
Big paladin is developing on the side. It’s not a deck that relies as much on buffs. While templar or brasswing getting silenced hurts, they are still beefy stat sticks.
Templar and the colossal have rush, so you can get some value in immediately before they’re silenced. Hold the bridge is a spell that also encourages you to use it for immediate burst.
Quest paladin might be possible if the reward buff can’t be silenced, which I think is the case because when a priest casts soul mirror, their copies of recruits become 1/1.

I think I heard that the developers want the game to be more minion-based. Isn’t this an excuse to make a deck with exactly two minions?
