Sooo if someone can clarify this for me that would be superb. The dragons in the core set are being changed. However, does that mean they are also changing in Wild as well? I really like Malygos the way he is now, along with the other dragons. I don’t mind the changes in the core set if that is what is going to be in standard, but if in wild would definitely like to keep them the way they are, can anyone clarify this for me.
My understanding is that all Basic and Classic cards are rotating to Wild as part of new set called Legacy. Some of those same cards will be present in the Core set, but the Core versions will neither be craftable nor disenchantable, whereas the equivalent card in the Legacy set will be. That’s my understanding of what they said about it, at least.
So in Legacy I’ll be able to play the dragons the way they are now?
The old dragons in the Classic/Legacy set which are moving to wild are staying the same. The new dragons in the Core set are completely new cards (like Malygos and Malygos Aspect of Magic are two different cards, now there will also be a 3rd, Malygos the Spellweaver).
In Wild, you should be able to play both old and new Dragon Aspects.
For absolute memeage; Play Wild as Warrior using the Deathwing Skin, and include Classic Deathwing, Deathwing the Destroyer from Core, Deathwing, Dragonlord from Whispers of the Old Gods and Deathwing, Mad Aspect from Descent of Dragons.
Sweet, thanks guys!!!
Happy to help. It’s one question about the upcoming changes I did think I could answer, heh. Lot of other questions remain, though.
