That’s been my experience, but I’m not a particularly good player.
I played it some myself and it seemed really inconsistent - you got the right cards early and steamroll, or you lose.

I mean, this is almost entirely because of shaman, Dungar druid, and weapon rogue. If the patch had addressed any of these (it made shaman go back to the better swarm deck) then DK would be a problem.
But it didn’t address any of them, so… It’ll just be shamans and dungar druid all the way.
Shudderwuck should take a high dive off a cliff while they are at it. That card has almost single-handedly carried shaman since it was printed. Shudder + Fizzle or Raynor is just as bad a combo as anything out there atm. Seeing a shaman go from near dead to 100+ armor after tripled Raynor battlecry is a bit much. Blizzard can’t get it through its head that the abuse of powerful battlecries is why people hated Brann druid and warrior as well as Shadowstep.
We if we talkin about shamans and battlecry…
Bliz: we gonna limit certain things like waygate and zarimi to “once per game”
Also Bliz: yo shaman I herd u lik battlecries so we put a battlecry legendary that repeats battlecries, and all these battlecries that bounce or repeat battlecries, so you can battlecry while you battlecry while you battlecry while you battlecry while you battlecry while you battlecry while you battlecry while you battlecry …
I dunno man, im doing pretty good with toss mage right now, went 3-1 today in legend ranks!
Wrong. Actually 1/3 top 1000 players are playing Fizzle-Shaman.
Hmmm, you’re right. While I was playing in the 3k-4k legend area I rarely saw the Fizzle list, only the Swarm list for the most part. But you are right, Top 1K they were abusing it up there.
30% popular but 3rd best deck. Now that the Fizzle version will be nerfed, the Swarm Version is still #1 and will now just be better.
So these changes do nothing to Swarm Terran Shaman and Dungar Druid or Grunter Hunter. Those 3 decks are just brutally good.
Yep. That’s the meta for the next few months. Enjoy!
And all 3 of those are going to get a little better since all the Fizzle Shaman decks just go the route of Swarm Terran Shaman
The nerf to Fizzle is probably 4 mana cost on the Snapshot so that Shaman can’t Snapshot + Raynor. But that won’t stop Hydration Warrior so it’s pretty much the favored go-to nerf to only kill 1 deck.
However, I run Griftah in my Terran Shaman deck and I often have reduced card costs, and those reduced costs stay on Fizzle Snapshot.
So you might just see Griftah in the new Terran Shaman Fizzle deck lol
If not that, you always have coin generation.
The only change I saw suggested to Fizzle that I think would be cool is if the Snapshot took a picture of the enemy hand. That’s the change they really need tbh.
i called that fizzle nerf lol
I have to disagree. It’s allowing degenerate infinite combos to exist with the card, which was never intended. It needed changed. I feel like just adding the tag “Once per Game” is an easy fix and it can be reverted when it goes to wild.
I agree. Fizzle should be “once per game” thing.
Me too but I expect just 3 → 4 mana cost nerf from this team… joke really…
Jesus Christ these devs… go back to overwatch
Danehearth was predicting that, it might make him quit HS altogether :>

And you know that from what? Zola/Brewmasters were in rotation when Fizzle was introduced.
Feels unbelievable to me that they think zerg DK is balanced
i cook them with fricken lazer beams
It’s very funny the DK is allowed to parade around with a Death Growl of 1 mana. That card is so overtuned that it would be literally in some decks if it was 8 mana. Those Devs forget what cards they released in an old expansion that didn’t have early Deathrattles that were important.
Come on, I can understand a hyperbole but you are being ridiculous. Death Growl was barely played since it was released (it appeared in Plague DK which was a pretty mediocre deck). It would not be played now it it was 4 mana, let alone 8. DG’s power is that it is very cheap so it can be played early and/or used with playing minions. It doesn’t help your argument when you make it stupid.
paladin
What paladin deck are you playing atm? Class seems completely unviable rn
