Nerfs (and 1 Buff) Coming Tomorrow

Your complaining always seems incredibly self centered. Sure you might not have got the change you wanted to help out your deck, but at the very least they’re trying to target some of the macro problems of the game and they should at least be acknowledged for that. I’m sure that for a large percentage of the population these changes will be a breath of fresh air.

As a wild player you should already be accustomed to not getting any balance patches at all for that mode let alone nerf reverts that arent the result of a rotation from standard to wild.

Yeah they learned that paladin is a good class to be at the top. It’s probably fine as it is.

The new fire cards they printed are for standard.
Yet, no draw card.
I’m sure that’s just an oversight.
The evidence over the past six years is overwhelmingly in favor of their bias.
There is no way a mage fire deck works without draw.
It’s just more smoke and mirrors to hide the fact that they refuse to give mage anything that works in more than one deck.
Everything mage has is so narrowly focused, or has been nerfed so hard that Wild mage is completely handicapped by comparison to any other class.
I’m glad for the nerfs here. Really. The Standard mage deck has had it’s time.
And I despise Dorian, so yay for that.

Yeah. Mage got to be top dog for longer than I figured. I think Pally is a good choice:)

Neither are they. Old people just yell alot when they get confused and befuddled. It’s normal. Just ignore it and move on.

I agree here. Not sure where Yogg is sitll an issue, but okay.

Which is great because this slow as molasses meta makes handbuff paladin do hilarious things. I hit my opponent in the face for 50 dmage on turn seven this morning. Take that, warrior.

My heart is hoping it’s a stat nerf of the elementals.

Make them 3/4s or something so they are a less intimidating board and more likely to die on trades.

I mean its true theres no specific tutor card for fire like there is for arcane/frost but some clever deck building can get around that… Volume up can be used as a substitute if you limit your spell inclusion… that paladin tutor card… Also theres always the chance that the miniset introduces a tutor fire card (although I’m with you on doubting that).

At the very least they’re targeting the powerspike mana cheat cards which is a step in the right direction to bringing a more incremental game play style like hearthstone past which is welcomed. There is still dungar and cliff dive (which should have been hit) and if the game slows down OTK druid will probably see a resurgence but at the very least it definitely looks like they view the mana cheat nonsense as a problem and are at least attempting to tone it down.

I won’t hold my breath.
Still, I’m glad for the changes.
Dorian alone is worth a thumbs up to the limited minds at team 5.

Yogg nerf feels necessary and too late.

New expansion is coming so not surprising they nerf the free legendary Marin that’s been really popular.

I doubt they’ll outright kill the card though. The new freebie Shaffar doesn’t look like it’ll be replacing him or other popular legendary.

Meanwhile paladins continue to have divine shields - blocks any attempt to damage them with nerfs :joy:

Dorian nerf so controltards can now be 100% population on wild.

Some of the worse change in years.

The reasoning behind most stuff there is dumb.

Not gonna say i disagree with everything but anyone saying that they are caring for anything other than try to make people buy the junk they printed for this expansion is dumb.

This is actually even another reason to not buy anything.

No way they’re changing a classic card like that. It’s probably getting reverted at 8-mana and 3 elementals as it always should’ve been.

Yep, just another failed mage set with the 8 Mana tsunami.

You could revert Skyla and Surfalopod with that change and the deck would still be trash.

It’s the likely change, but it’s disappointing for anyone that actually enjoyed the deck that it’s getting utterly destroyed.

Only Painlock left untouched and thriving

There might be a demon/deathrattle deck coming soon by the looks of it, I’ve already began working on it, but it’s not going well xD

Also, if the meta really slows down EVEN MORE, we might see Reno Wheel Warlock return to its former glory

Back to sif for mage.

I was hoping for a couple of buffs, like make some of their failed cards playable for the last 2 to 3 weeks of exp, coigh maestra and eidora still not really playable

I’ll be ready :sunglasses:

Yep, that’s all this really does. Deletes the PiP set for mage in favor of Sif again… Especially with Renathal running amok.

So they didn’t touch pirate demon hunter or painlock? These devs are complete idiots.

Im thinking the paladin tutor card path maybe renathal maybe 30, who knows which will be better

Honestly, Skyla Sif mage has potential too. Coins/shills for extra Mana on Sif turns
