And finally the Golden Monkey Treasure is getting buffed.
There are some Battlegrounds nerfs/buffs too.
I feel like they did hit many of the top decks with these nerfs, kind of surprised they are hitting Tsunami directly, maybe reverting the buff.
Also kind of surprised they are directly hitting the wand treasure and not just Marin, but if they are making the cards cost 1 instead of 0 that might just be a better nerf.
Wow they really went for it (although whether the nerfs were correctly done I suppose we will find out soon). Looks like they’re trying to do some cleanup prior to the expansion so we wont still have to spend 8 more months with mana cheat mage/druid/shaman overshadowing what they’re trying to do with the expansion.
Not sure what you’re upset about when they’re torching most of the obnoxious cards currently in standard. I dont know how much an impact that a 1/3 will have in wild and if that is what you’re annoyed about.
But to me at least their targets look right to open up the game. I think mabye they should have buffed a few hunter cards though.
Except for radiant elemental, i dont like these changes at all, specially the nerf to the 1 cost pirate, no matter how annoying they are, pirates keep uninteractive decks in check, and i started to appreciate them, dorian and the marine treasure again all classes pay for druids sins,
Yogg nerf feels unnecessary and out of nowhere…
And the rest is irrelevant…
I am annoyed. Wild is where I play, and they can unnerf anything but a mage card.
When is Incanters or RSW or LPG or Kabal Lackey being unnerfed?
They are pushing fire cards in Standard for mage this expansion, yet not one draw card printed for fire spells.
They haven’t shown me anything other than that they have no regard for anyone but a nameless “designers”: (sorry I just threw up in my mouth a bit) Pet classes and wants.
The unnerf to cheap, easy, priest draw is just more of the same bias I see every single expansion. Apparently their reeking design choices this expansion just weren’t quite stanky enough. They can always squeeze out some more waste.
But we have gone many months with them not nerfing something and it taking over the game for months at a time…this is potentially the opposite of that (assuming its done right)
They only unnerfed it because they are most likely killing the elemental that let them draw their entire deck turn 2, probably gonna make it not cost less than 1.
Good changes, I imagine they’ll remove the mind control from Yogg. Paladins as usual dodging nerfs. Hunter should be very good as well although nobody plays that. Maybe Renathal will help mantain the balance until the next expansion, which is still looking very weak compared to the current meta IMO
i love marin and the wand won /saved many games …sadly the nerf doesnt surprise me hoping they wont kill the car, lately they ve been avoiding doing that the last one i can remember is jailer
from yogg theyll probably change the “take control” one (because of starships)
