Without steamcleaner in the new rotation to keep that deck in check, its already shaping up to be a major fun killer.

I understand your reason, but plague DK appears to be slower now compared to new decks and by the time they really hurt you should have control of board. Plague DK is only a threat to highlander now.
I have not seen a single plague dk since the expansion hit. But its probably the rank level you are in.
