I’m main WarLock and seriously “IMPOSSIBLE” to win against demon hunter no way there’s no strategy it’s defeat right away if I get queued against demon hunter I starting to concede right away it’s unfair! we cannot play equal impossible to defeat demon hunter seriously worse than paladin whenever I’m playing against paladin AT LEAST I get the chance to think or do something but DEMON hunter impossible

How about they nerf tickatus because the priest mains cannot beat control warlock ?

does that make sense to you ? to nerf x card because it’s good against x deck

The only good Card that Warlock has is Tickatus Demon hunter is very strong I think it’s fair to allow me to have a bit more chance of winning right? but that’s impossible. demon hunter is a cancer.

You main the weakest class in the game, if you want to nerf cards causing you issues, we should nerf half of the game.

I’m very disappointed about what Blizzard has been doing to the classes Cards it’s not balanced completely crazy. =( that’s very sad.

This is how hard counters work you have little to no chance to win the matchup , i played old school Freeze Mage and that deck had a 10% chance to win against Control Warrior a popular deck at the time.

If its something that you dont want to come across you can play something like the current Paladin decks even the bad matchups they have never go bellow 40%.

It’s more of a Warlock problem. Warlock is just bad, as usual. They legit haven’t been strong for any length of time in the last 3 years

Idk why people consider Tickatus the big deal when Lord J is clearly the problem. After a turn where Warlock does nothing, they spam a 6/6 almost every turn. So if you play any control deck that seeks to just survive, like most Priest decks, tough luck.

Sure, Tickatus accelerates the fatigue game, but it’s not like you remain out resources, especially as a Priest. With a deck full of discover effects, you never know how far they can go…

on reddit there are several clips of warlock players conceding after losing tickatus to the new murloc

that doesnt make any sense to me ! tickatus isnt the win condition so there is no reason to concede after losing it !

lol, yep. I’ve had opponents give me a well played after burning Tickatus, like I’m supposed to care? Most of the time I win anyways.

I don’t understand the point of nerfing the few good late game cards we have when majority of the busted cards are early game.

Because big late game cards are flashy. Noobs don’t understand they lost because of the huge early game cards that outtempoed them, they just notice the big 8/8 finisher.

It’s okay warlock and priest are fighting it out for the lowest average winrate. Still I find it funny that you cant win, it’s like the priest warlock matchup lol

It looks like Zoo Warlocks can put up a fight against them at around 43%. I would hardly call winning 4 out of 10 games an unwinnable matchup. I’m sure you could tweak a list to target Deathrattle lists specifically and get to closer to 50% if not better.

Good luck surviving if they play this King Crush (new Alexstrasza)… Uhhhh, I mean Illidari Inquisitor 3 times because they copy it with N’Zoth, God of the Deep or Felosophy. Oh, wait, it is better than Alexs or King because it is 8 mana. It has rush so it could kill most of the taunts in game and for the investment of 1 mana for hero power it attacks gain - basically 9 mana 8/8 with windfury - first attack is rush and second is face. If you do it once it is fine, if you do it twice it is bearable. But they copy it and it 3 or more times. My whole deck is healing and board clear and still it is not enough because even priest doesn’t have enough heal against that. I am playing this game since 2016 so I am not a noob and still think this demon hunter card is broken. Imprisoned Antaen if fine because at least it does 10 damage at RANDOM targets. That’s 3 or more times 9 damage face (1 dmg is by the hero power). If this is balanced then Blizzard is living in a delusional world for a long time. “Fun and interactive”. Ha, good joke!

If that card is soooooo strong, why is this becoming a problem only now ?

Paladin kept DH in check through the whole expansion till now. As Vs Said, the poor perfomance in Deathrattle DH was mostly Paladin, kinda like the Evolve Shaman meta.

You peel off the Paladin layer and there’s lots of DHs Below.

I agree this card should never have included Rush. You basically have an 8/8 charge/windfury that can be played 3 or more times. I was surprised this was not a legendary as it probably should have been in this format. If DH gets to pull this guy out its basically an instant loss.

So your issue as a Warlock main

  • you know the deck that is impossible to win against with any control deck
  • is that you have a matchup that is impossible to win against (untrue BTW, it’s winnable with the perfect draws)
