Need a nerf soon

Blizzard needs really look at this meta stop playing game and nerf it unplayable you are lucky to make to turn five at most. When mage was a problem, just jump on it quick not even week later rest who care let see how it is leave it as a mess. Match should not be decided by turn 5 wtf is going on in blizzard head now days.

You think people are going to keep putting up with paying $60 or 80 not be able even play thing they pay for in the first place because meta just aggro mess. Why pay this much someone can pay the same price enjoys whole game if bought AAA title instead this mess you call HS.

Half the cards are useless because can not play them it like wtf am paying for anymore.

It’s like that in part because of mage. The best counters were fast decks like pain locks and pirate dhs. Maybe it is in part the responsibility of the Devs giving tools for fast decks but very slow decks can be also obnoxious (e g. when Reno warrior was the meta tyrant).

I love how dh is allowed to aggro you down but mage isnt

It’s interesting isn’t it?

Maybe because Big Spell Mage wasn’t supposed to be aggro deck to begin with?

It was supposed to be a tempo or control deck, which now it is.

Doesn’t change the facts

It does.

DH is aggro + it was meant to be aggro = acceptable

Mage was aggro + wasn’t meant to be aggro = unacceptable

I don’t have a problem with DH having the aggro deck they have as long as everyone acknowledges that this card is 150% BROKEN and needs a nerf.

I wouldn’t say so xD If anything, it’s sorta weak, in a vacuum

Synergy makes it great, but hey, now we’re into the combo domain

I think the greatest culprit here is the fact that decks which counter DH aren’t meta

I mean, it’s a free win for Painlock, but my other decks, especially mage, are very weak against it, because they weren’t meant to beat hyper-aggro decks, they were meant to beat slower, control decks.

I think everything is as it needs to be, except we’re missing a scissor and a rock.

I went to wild to play Pirate DH. Before this, I had maybe 10 wins on DH total. Rarely play the class.

Built Pirate DH.

Went 12-0. Laughed. Stopped playing.

This minion is so broken it’s just funny at this point that it’s not getting the attention it deserves.

Hey, at least Blizzard didn’t give Treasure Distributor charge right? I think I actually dislike the 3 mana Hozen more than Distributor, just for its ability to make the piddling 1/1s be a little more sticky.

Altair is right. The mage wasn’t a traditional fast deck. It could not be countered by traditional control because its threats are a sudden spam of high HP minions so EVEN MORE fast decks were mainly able to control it.

That card is 200% busted in wild

I think the combo of sigil of skydiving+ hozen is a worst offender

Not really.

It is Just that you had to actually play your stuff you know ?

We talk about interaction but the second something demmands interaction from Control players they lose their cool on it.

How It demmands interaction?

The water elementals attack instantly but randomly.
This means that If you keep only clearing you gonna take 12 damage by turn.

Unkiliax , big taunts, stuff with more than 3 health.

Even the small Minions aren’t that bad because they atleast could stop you from being hit.

Said It before and gonna say again. While big spell mage is not perfect , it is Peak design when compared to the rest of the game.

  :joy:

As if I care at all about Blizzard’s “design intent”

Nothing is “supposed” to be anything, period. The entire subject is cope.

Stop giving em money

If they don’t predict the meta based on their design, then they are bad at balancing.

The practice appears to be in the middle (they try).

Literally no trading card game developer does this, because it isn’t actually possible

The closest one can get is knowing the decklists. Knowing how popular those decklists will be is impossible, and if you don’t know how popular scissors is then you can’t know how powerful rock is. The power level of decks is decided in part by completely irrational factors.
