My game will not loading past the tavern doors

Stuck on the Tavern Doors Hearthstone… Uninstalled and reinstalled both battle net and hearthstone… deleted all files of the game… Updated my drivers and windows… SC2 opens so its not the launcher. Is there a fix or am I SOL?

I am haveing the same issue. Did all the things support articles. Loading on my phone works but not my pc.

Hey everyone,

It is an odd situation when Hearthstone gets stuck at the tavern doors. It usually is due to damaged files, interfering programs, or a connection issue. There is also one problem we’ve been tracking that is affecting players on an account level where one region will refuse to allow a login while others work fine. This affects all devices when it occurs and a Game Master will need to escalate the case to get it looked into and resolved.

x3vilplayerx, let’s make sure it’s not an account issue first by switching regions for the game. That’s done by clicking the world icon above the PLAY button in the Battle.net application. Test if Europe or Asia works. If it does, try switching back and testing again. Should it refuse to work in a single region then, please create a ticket and mention your results. It will need to be tested on our end and likely wait for a fix after we escalate it.

If you find no regions work, then some basic troubleshooting is in order to cover those other causes.

ChaosDark, you’ll also want to try these out since the region solution is unlikely to explain what’s going on since your phone works fine with the game.

First is to clear out the information. The areas we’re targeting have temporary information that can cause issues if something is damaged.

1) Press Windows Key + R
2) Type in %localappdata% and press enter
3) Go into  the Blizzard folder
4) Go into the Hearthstone folder
5) Find the Cache folder here and delete it

If there is still a problem, targeting the network and ISP is next. That’s done by trying another network entirely like a friend’s or neighbors. Another way to test is with a hotspot or tether with a mobile device.

Should this persist, submitting a ticket with system information attached should let us check for other causes.

Hello Ironthorne,
I have tried what you suggested and still doesn’t work on any region. Works on my cell phone App but not my PC.
