I like to know what the event quest objective is before I start it. These new event quests are a mystery. I guess I haven’t figured it out yet. I get it, it’s new. I don’t like it. Tell me what I need to do so I can do it.

That and there’s plenty of time to experiment to see what works. Even though (for some reason) the cards in the rewards can be used right away, but we still have to wait to open the packs, even though they’re also UNGORO series and given at the same time as the individual cards.

The “riddles” answers are relative to what the hinted card, ie sing-along-buddy affects your hero power, so the quest is use your hero power

I think they’re fun and fit the theme of the expansion.
As others have said, check the hint cards for the clues as to what you’re looking for. You can look up the clue card in crafting if you don’t have it.
Also, if you look after a game at what you’ve completed towards the daily quest, it mentions it more clearly with words rather than symbols.

I like how people are like “just play, you’ll figure it out” when some quests can only be completed in specific game modes…

which ones
i completed different daily quests and they seem to advance on any mode for example the one giving tracking as a hint advances by discovering cards
even on BG
One is “Play 2 Arena games.”
Another one is “Play 3 Tavern Brawl games.”
And one is to play ranked games
Like, Brawl and Lord of the arena kinda give a good hint if you know that quests can be about specific game modes
But progamer being to play ranked isn’t really obvious
