I find a lot of warriors but little to no mage; but warrior has yet to be nerfed ![]()
Ha, I am playing warrior and farming mages.
Please keep playing mages so I can have the tasty free wins.
maybe that’s the answer: the match making changes if you change deck probably.
I am playing shaman, mage, rogue lately, but warrior is one of the class that I see more often.
If I started playing warrior myself, I would probably see less of them and more of other stuff.
But that’s just a theory
I see less when I match by ranking than I did when I was climbing with bonus stars.
I doubt it’s deck related so much as meta/mmr.
I keep seeing better decks since D5.
How is warrior so good at farming mages? What kind of warrior are you playing? DO you have a deck code you could share with the community please?
While not them, here’s a personal list I run myself thats the pirate warrior I’ve been using on a budget. I think it’s gotten budget legend 2-3 times. Seems to climb decently.
(F2p 3200 dust, no barov, solid tempo, seems to get much more consistent t7 rokaras vs mirrors t8 other pirate warriors and that can be a mirror winner)

So far it’s not made to beat mage but it seems to do good, aside from that most of the same pwar weaknesses, libram is weak unless you can sieze and snowball board(hard).
Face hunter strangely can feel hard for this list unless you draw the mini 3 dmg swipe, but it tends to avoid having matches where you can’t complete a step due to top decking two of em, but you could probably easily tech a 2nd back in and run 1 hatchet or a 2nd 4/6 anchorman if you wanted.
You can also mess around with 1 or 2 hatchet versions. You rarely use all durability, but I prefer having two to avoid low rolls and mulligan more aggressively. Pirate is pirate but this list feels reliable and consistent to me and runs all the pirates for consistency. Combining hatchet with the 4/3 is pretty handy. But the 3 mana 3/4 gain 2 attack feels like one of the best on curve 3 drops out there imo until turn 4 3+1 cannoneer hatchet.
Otks are fine if can be disrupted and actully need to assemble combo(like old malygos druids needing almsot entire hand for combo pieces)
And arent ridiclously fast AND consistent.
Otk that requires set up at is at earliest turn 10 is way more acceptable then one that just need 1specefic card and evrything else is interchangable and otk’s you around turn 6.
Quest warrior and tempo rogue are a bit too good, but at least those decks use minions and can be beaten with a minion base deck. Ultimately HS is about minions vs minions, so I dont have a big problem with those decks.
I do have a problem with this other decks that you metioned, tho. But IMO those are way less effective than Mozaki mage. And those decks actually got nerfed resently. So I think it is fair to ask for some mage changes now.
We Mages have been demonized since 1486 and the passage of the Malleus Maleficarum.
Please end these witch hunts.
Just because we’re actual witches and warlocks who specialize in OTKs that make other players want to throw their computers through the window is no reason to burn us at the stake.
