I’m a returning player and I just saw I’m missing frostbolt, mirror image, polymorph and some other cards from other classes. I also see on youtube that people were playing some of these cards in 2022. Also see that icy-veins is containing them in the classic deck. At the same time found some articles on 2021 that they were removed.
So is it just on me or the cards were really removed and icy veins didn’t bother to update the decks and the 2022 videos are fake?
These cards got removed from Standard format, but could possibly return in the future. In Wild you can still play them.
Hmm, nope some of them indeed are but at least frostbolt and mirror image can’t be found on wild either. Strange… Do you have them on wild?
And how the hell can be classic considered classic without frostbolt and chillwind yeti? It was a mistake trying to come back. Thank you for your help though!
Try selecting the “Hall of Fame” set instead of “Wild” in the collection manager. I suspect that’s where the cards are housed, but they are playable in Wild.

These cards are available in both Wild and Classic formats. If you want to play Classic, you need to specifically choose Classic when you build a new deck (I believe new decks are Standard format by default). Classic has to use a different set of cards because many cards have undergone buffs or nerfs since early HS. For example, Leeroy Jenkins is 5 mana in Wild (got nerfed), but 4 mana in Classic.
