So do you think this merger will improve some things maybe make dead modes bit funner or even add more adventures? Seems they added an update to Heroes of Storm which been dead for years so that is shocking.
No…It will take a leap of faith and hopefully more firing in the HS teams + a year rotation that it’s exceptional to bring the game in a state were it should be…
Currently years and years of team 5 have taken a too much bigger toll on HS to be fixed by a merge with microsoft.
Also please do note that their own employees find out news about the state of their game from meetings instead of actually playing the games…Check out what previously canned Hunter stated on linkedin.
Guess that not even blizzard employees play blizzard games :))

The merger was being talked about for a year. In that time, nothing about addressing player concerns, quality improvements, actually keeping promises (like actually following through on “improved communication”).
All’s they did were a lot of fluff announcements like DEI stuff (which actiblizz already makes) and the strange abrupt settlement of the workplace harassment suit for less than half of what weinstein paid for the same offenses, AFTER the governor the actiblizz board members donated campaign funds to interfered in the case. And of course the strange out of character decision in favor of microsoft from a court that doesn’t usually go full pro business.
The names on the paperwork changed, but nothing else.
