i hate running that bounty … the only reason i did was because of the new daily rewards system … i really don’t want to run testing on this bounty lol, and i would have to to be sure of my answer to you … but i do have on the equipment that spawns free vipers, so given that all 3 acted on turn 2, i would say yes, at the end of that turn the viper existed and did not act … though i’m not really sure again, why that would be the case on turn 2, since the freeze is on turn 1
edit: … annnnd this is why trying to test this is really annoying … after sending in this reply, i decided to give it one shot of testing to see if i get the same thing to happen again … although i decided to make one quick change to my party and took off the free viper just to see if, without minions, things went the same way again … also, did not get a bomb this time … HOWEVER, 1st turn azshara did summon an orb 1st turn this time … so whatever the scripting is for the boss is either random, or contextually cheeses out the freeze if you have minions … which is fairly annoying for testing purposes, since now i have to figure out how to set up testing a forced freeze into bleed which i really don’t want to sink into that rabbit hole … >.<
edit 2: okay, so first turn was orb, 2nd turn was bleed, turns 3 and 4 demonstrate the targeted bug … turn 3 was the freeze turn … passed completely … turn 4 was after 2nd minion acts bleed all, so i ONLY healed with anachondra both to avoid the bleed all, and to keep brukan alive … at the end of turn 4 anachondra froze and NO ONE ELSE FROZE … so at least in terms of the idea that anyone passing for 2 turns causes all to freeze seems not to be the case, unless there is something about having a 4th slot occupied on the board that makes that happen in which case ??? levels of wtf is this bug
however, now it seems that there is another bug that comes with this bounty which, if it is already discovered, fine, i’m finding it out now as i do this … so i’m down on turn like 7 now, brukan and guff died to bleed trying to get this down to just azshara … so now malfurion and ysera are in … basically just here to heal and test the interactions … so on the freeze turn again, i had anachondra heal herself to get the bleed off, and she was frozen for that turn, then on the next turn i had malf and ysera to a heal because azshara went for summon an orb, at the end of turn they were frozen, so that freeze effect seems to last per character for at least one turn after the effect is cast (i will determine whether that effect lasts until the character is used again, in which case REALLY F this bug …) … but the new bug seems to be one of two things … EITHER that frozen minions seem to count as “actions” toward the bleed round OR that malf’s auto-healing equipment counts as an action toward the bleed … after the orb blew up (not enough dmg to kill it with frozen mercs) i only had anachondra unfrozen so i healed malf to keep him alive (3 hp) … for whatever reason, anachondra’s heal triggered azshara’s bleed … so now it seems like i’m going to have to come back AGAIN to test whether the auto-heal per nature damage equipment is counting as an action by removing it and trying the bounty again … not looking forward to it
also, for some reason, malf was frozen for a second turn after anachondra’s heal on malf turn, again leading me to believe the auto-heal-while-frozen is yet another weird bug, or facet of the same bug
edit 3: malf doing a group heal on a bleed turn self triggered the bleed, even though he was the only one to act… seemingly the auto-heal is being counted as a second merc acting even though he is the only one to act … also malf got frozen, but this was expected only being 1 turn after a freeze turn … problem is i need aszhara to do another orb turn so i can test to see if the freeze turn only lasts for 1 extra turn or until the next action
edit 4: ok… it just seems like the bleed and freeze effects both just last until triggered … which is just the dumbest cheesiest lamest boss gimmick, especially since it isn’t spelled out that it is what’s happening … it would be less lame if it was stated “this effect lasts until triggered” because then at least you can try to plan to play around it better, but i had 3 turns in a row with an arcane orb being summoned, and even after skipping a turn entirely, after one merc acted it got frozen, and after 2 acted everything got bled … so definitively, this bounty sucks, and it’s gimmick is the worst, especially if this is the intended behavior and not a lame bug
edit 5: jfc … the list just goes on … even being returned to the bench does not remove this effect from your merc … i sent anachondra to the bench with ysera, then used heal next turn with anachondra, and the froze immediately even though it was a bleed turn, also, since malf was dead, the bleed did not trigger, so it seems like the equipment counts as an action (even though ysera’s treasure, +15 dragon health to a friendly dragon when healed, did trigger, it did not seem to count as an action … wow at least one thing that doesn’t need to be fixed) … the only time someone did not get frozen on the same turn as their action was when ysera returned herself to the bench
also, the bleed applies after 2 mercs act AT ALL, not just on the same turn
yeah, now that there are like a bunch of these effect queued up, the bleeds are being applied every time a single merc acts in a turn … this bounty just needs to be looked at, or have it’s text fixed
tldr: aszhara’s bleed and freeze effects last until triggered … if a freeze effect is in play, the next time a merc acts (as long as it is not sent to the bench – in which case, it’s next action after being send to the bench) it will be frozen … the bleed effect will occur after the next 2 actions, regardless of being on the same turn, and the more the bleed effect get’s triggered, the more times it can be triggered on consequent rounds if only using one merc at a time … also, it seems that some auto-actions like malf’s healing equipment, may help toward triggering the bleed effect … please fix this bounty or at least fix the text if this lame gimmick is intended
p.s. i ran again without liferoot staff, but like a dummy took nature’s bite on malf to make the climb easier, so i never put malf into the boss battle considering that might count as 2 attacks … anyway, i never got to test the bleed happening on 2 turns again, since she only used that ability once, and every other turn was freeze/orb … i wound up accidentally killing her before being able to isolate her without her minions … and i think i’m done testing this out for now … if i had a way to do a dev-like testing of it and could fix the code i’d do it myself that’s how bad this bounty is to me
