Ummm My pack contain a rare mercenary, and You Say it become coins, and then one of the other 4 slots become a Legendary portrait, its very strange
The more Maxed out Mercs you have the more you feel bad every time a coin turn out to be for those Mercs you already maxed.
So if you have a full collection, and many maxed out stop open pack, unless you are on the hunt for portrait, or every future run will be a feel bad run when the coin you receive is for the mercs you already maxed.
As for me, i will never open any Mercs packs until there is a maxed out protection, or a purpose for those exceed coin, or new Mercs coming to town (only if that is so OP Mercs that i can not wait, otherwise iâll just go complete F2P and grind for it via bounties like i already did).
And now even more scam when they nerf Cairne without compensate (because there is not yet a compensate system in Mercs), just put in some words like: ânot an intended mechanicâ and they can get away with it, and Player even happy when Blizz did that because of Cairne and Diablo combo flooded the meta. Be careful, tolerance such behavior will only cost you time and money, remember how much effort/money you put in to maxed out Cairne and now heâs not as good anymore, and you donât receive anything in return. Maybe the recent 5 Merc packs is their diversion so player will forget about Cairneâs nerf.
What you are describing is âEarn some coins for one of the Mercenaries in your party, one totally random, and three from the following:â
And that is not what the box to see what the rewards are says. Rather its says this:
âEarn some coins for the Mercenaries in your party plus a random one of the following:â
Random one not two, three, or some other number. More over there is nothing about there being any random coins in that wording either (not that I mind as I am two coins away from Lich king.)
By the wording on the box you should be getting coins from one of the three mercs shown and all the remaining rewards should be related to the mercs you ran. If that is not how it works they need to go back and rewrite the text.
I donât disagree, was just pointing out that itâs probably not a bug, but rather poorly explained mechanic working likely as intended. I think we are on the same page.
There is poorly explained and there is flat out wrong. The behavior and box are so out of step with each other that âpoorly explainedâ just doesnât cut it. Molten Giantâs behavior in Hearthstone proper is at least within the same post code with its text; this isnât even on the same planet.
Either the text is wrong (ie âbuggedâ) or it isnât behaving like intended (ie âbuggedâ).
