Mercenaries turns will not complete and lock the game in an endless hang. Conceding will not resolve it, you can only exit the game, at which point the game will be stuck in trying to reconnect to your last match, which it never resolves. The game cannot be played.
Can confirm, during combat the game often gets stuck not resolving the turn, which requires me to quit the game client and wait until the server closes the game so the re-connect attempt can fail and I can use the game client again.
Makes this game mode kind-of unplayable.
Same here. I tried to delete the cache, reboot the pc and reinstall the game and it changes nothing.
I can confirm this too and it came with the latest patch. Played yesterday without any problems. Today it’s completely broken.
Since a blue post was made on another thread describing the same issue, I’m posting all the logs that are present in the folder:
EDIT: Power.log and Zone.log are missing, as I assume the files are too long, trying to paste them over results in an internal error when trying to submit the form.

Also have been locked out of the game completely due to permanent attempt to reconnect. Mercenaries needs an emergency fix.
~20 min later it finally exited the reconnect attempt.
Steps to reproduce:
- Запустить игру Hearthstone.
- Войти в режим Mercenaries.
- Начать бой против противников.
- Дождаться начала хода противников.
Expected result:
Противники совершают свои действия, бой продолжается без сбоев.
Actual result:
- Во время хода противников экран зависает, ничего не происходит.
- Приходится несколько раз перезапускать игру.
- После перезапуска появляется сообщение: “Загружается последняя игра”, но подключение не происходит.
- Только после нескольких попыток появляется ошибка “Подключиться не возможно”, и тогда можно снова начать играть в Hearthstone.
Frequency: Происходит регулярно, практически в каждом бою.
Impact:
- Невозможно нормально пройти режим Mercenaries.
- Требуются постоянные перезапуски, что делает игру практически непроходимой.

Also the description about Hearthstone-specific error logs seems outdated, as I have a folder with numerous log txts opposed to only one.
I’ve managed to upload all the log files present in my user session’s log directory, but since I’ve already seen that there is sensitive user information like system specs etc. in some of them I’d kindly ask you to copy them over into an internal ticket and delete them afterwards from my post, thank you!

I second the issue. It is entirely unplayable right now. If combat isn’t resolved in 1 turn (which is highly unlikely), then the game freezes and attempts to reconnect for a long time.

Adding another voice to the folks who are locked out.
I uploaded my logs on my error ticket.
If you have it installed on mobile, delete it and reinstall it. When I reopened it after it said that it couldn’t connect to the game due to mercenaries being not installed (since you have to do it manually on iphone anyway).
I was able to get back in after it was all installed. The result was it just booted me from the final boss in the mythic rush I was in but I could try to fight it again if I wanted.
I have had the game hang on turns before but never to this degree to where it gets stuck on reconnecting, usually it fixes by closing it on my phone and opening back up. The patch from yesterday or whenever it was seemed to break it.

Crashing mostly happens when the player goes over 2 turns per combat
Sometimes it happens right after the player goes through the first few combats
I’ve had this issue last night as well, where I couldn’t advance at all past the first fight.
This next one, I ran into the same issue today but the 2nd fight I was being utterly massacred and when I went to replace my mercs with the 2 left on the bench, it was hung. I sent all of the information in a support ticket. ![]()
Experiencing the same thing. Multiple games. Gets stuck on “Combat” after a turn is over and won’t advance. Conceding will not respond. Can’t even play a different mode, because re-opening the game will try to re-connect to the broken game and never work. Have to wait until the server resets, log back in, and concede before even attempting the fight it was stuck on. Mind numbingly bad break. Not only does it get stuck on multiple games, you cannot even concede to exit the game, nor log back into the game to play a different mode - and then finally you have to abandon all progress at best. Embarrassing.
Mine has bee on reconnecting for 45 minutes now. Love that I can’t play during the only time I’m able to play for the next few days. ![]()
Edit: I closed it after about 50 minutes, relogged and it finally said unable to reconnect. I Just wont start a mercs match again today.
