Seriously I have fought him over 20 times and I still can’t win, you need to make it easier.
Adventures should be hard.
Then I will never buy them nor ever play them. There is hard then there is soul crushingly excruciatingly annoying basically lambasting and abusing the player. No thank you.
I’m stuck here too!
Those are the best moments for a singleplayer game
It took me a few tries, I thought it would take a lot more because his permanent totem thingies are super powerful. I would say the most important thing to do is to kill them every time they awaken. Never ever leave a turn with them alive if you can help it. Balance killing those, keeping his board clear in general, and smash his face. Also, make super strategic use of your demon hunters. They are your most powerful cards. The fungus guy that can summon rush minions and boost all your minions’ attacks I think is the most important to wait until you can outcast use him.
You just need the perfect start: i won at my 3rd attempt, i was lucky because he dropped a taunt with a lot of health and i topdecked something to kill it and win.
It’s not impossible, but it’s a pretty unbalanced match. (every other match is unbalanced in the opposite direction)
:0 really people struggle there?
I actually had a harder time early in that chapter. Then I was one-and-done on Mecha-Jaraxxus and the next boss. Kill those engine/totem things ASAP then focus on board control. As soon as I saw the HP gap, I figured I’d have to play defensively, and it worked.
Beat it on second try, he mainly had some special cards and prime legendary minions, just try to crush his reactors before they are insane.
It normally comes down to what cards you get and what they get.
I have played bosses in other adventures where they seem impossible and then on another try they get ‘bad’ cards and you actually get what you need and win.
I haven’t played what you are talking about - solo content isn’t of any great interest to me because it has been cut and paste since Kobolds - but I am sure you are right.
I did it first try before the twin slice nerf. I don’t remember if it had anything to do with that and if that change applies to the adventure too. In any case, I managed to beat him with relative ease. The key strategy IMO is to always kill their minion buff totem whenever its up.
I won, after about 10 tries, now I’m on the last episode!
Was just about to ask about that. I beat it on two accounts pretty easy pre-nerf.
Yeah! I won the final chapter of the adventure on my first try.
The adventure isn’t too challenging after the twin-slice nerf. It seems to be about as difficult as Galakrond’s Awakening.
Beat it on first attempt. It’s just a dice roll match.
OMG I am SO with you! He is RIDICULOUS. I don’t believe I should have to keep hoping for the ‘perfect hand’ in order to beat him. This is not an enjoyable encounter at all. Not to mention the EXTREMELY irritating rhyming sentences…Blizzard, worst Adventure by far!
I’m pretty surprised people are having trouble with him: he’s 1 of the easier opponents of the adventure. Just make sure to focus on the +1/+1 Generator whenever it comes online (the other isn’t that high of a priority as long as you don’t let it go too far).
Well, another thing you could do to make the fight easier (though this is harder to accomplish than to beat Mecha-Jaraxxus the normal way) is to do the Baduu Prime battle again and keep her alive at 1 to 4 health. Eventually after a long time she will concede and if you win that way (be careful of your own cards that can accidentally kill her, like Priestess of Fury), you get an extra card in the Mecha-Jaraxxus battle (starts in hand in addition to your normal hand size). It’s a 2-mana Spell that destroys all Demons on both sides of the field (so obviously don’t use it if you have some Demons on the field).
beat every boss using either rez priest or reno mage. Most of the matches had to be won in fatigue after the boss has ran out of cards to play.
