In the free-to-play space, you could have literally the best mobile game of all time, a majority of your players would still uninstall within a couple weeks of installing.
For example, there’s this excellent free to play game called Path of Exile. It’s like Diablo 3 if Diablo 3 hadn’t sucked and had ten years of expansions. Anywho, it’s a free to play game. Out of 10 storyline acts and a expansive endgame, the statistically median PoE player makes it halfway through Act 1, runs into the half-act boss, dies and rage uninstalls. And that’s a GOOD game.
I wouldn’t be surprised if 80% of people who download Hearthstone uninstall it before they make Silver even once.
