I think some players play with Warlook and dont have a Mecha JARAXXUS. If Tirande stay free for all the players Why no Jaraxxus.

Jaraxxus was an exclusive for people who prepurchased an expansion. Tyrande was a promotional portrait for those who owned a 3rd party account(I think twitch or amazon prime- $100/yr) during a limited time.

Yes and also all the others. But I’m afraid it doesn’t make enough profits. It’s actually better to keep them exclusive for those who like their “exclusivity” in these. Very sad.

Mecha Jaraxxus has never been for free, he was part of the 80$ prepurchase bundle for Boomsday.

Those players also got a free golden legendary and 80 packs. Giving Mecha-Jaraxxus by itself, for free, hardly warrants a refund.

I hope bli$$ard gives us all the heroes back but they probably wont. because money
notice that there were several offers for packs and legendarys, the most expensive one included the hero. other than to receive the hero there was no reason to buy 80 packs over the 60 packs bundle if it just were for packs and the legendary. meaning people paid for 20 extra packs just to get the hero, which you now feel entitled to receive for free.

Except to get the extra 20 packs, which isn’t nothing, particularly since the preorder price per pack is a 50% discount on the base rate of $1.99 per pack.
I bought the $80 Boomsday preorder exclusively to maximize the number of packs I would get at a discount. The hero was just a nice bonus, which I personally wouldn’t mind if others got for free. Paying $20 just to get a hero is ridiculous, IMO.

I would be annoyed if they gave Mecha Jaraxxus for free. I believe we’ve had this same discussion before. I understand the value of the preorder lies in the packs and golden legendary as well as the skin, but having to pay $80 to obtain the skin just for it to be given away for free later after being advertised as limited time only would be very scummy.
This is not comparable to Tyrande at all. Tyrande was completely free to get as you could obtain a free trial for Prime. Preorder heroes like Mecha Jaraxxus, Rastakhan, Lazul, Elise, Deathwing, and Vashj are never coming back, and with good reason

Khadgar also came back after (from what I know) being advertised in such a way. You can always look at the extra cost you paid was because you had access earlier than everyone else. But yeah, I guess many might see that as “scummy”. I just hate it because what if I would be new to the game and would like to have this or that certain skin. “Nope. Never. Don’t even think about it. Should’ve discoverd this game earlier. Tough luck. Not at the right place at the right time. Instead just admire those that were lucky enough to had the chance to get it.” I just hate that.
Well, not really. Maybe free as in not needing to spend money. But Prime was (at least at that time) only available in certain countries. And you needed to to this trial thing. And what if you forgot to cancel the subscription? Not so “free” anymore. I’m pretty sure that was also what Amazon hoped would happen in rare cases.
The only people that had gotten it really “free” were those that asked like on Reddit and others gave them the code. They just needed to say that they want one and that really isn’t too much to ask so I would qualify only that then as truly “free”.
You’re saying this with so much certainty. Are you part of their marketing team or something? Like maybe it actually is there like a “rule”. But even then that can also change and isn’t really a fixed thing. Are you from the future and know the exact events that are going to unfold? What if people suddenly would start spending a lot of money on cosmetics? Of course they would then consider putting those Portraits from the past in the store. At least that would make sense to me. Although, to be fair, also only given if it outweights the outrage from people that love their “exclusivity” so much. But it certainly is within the realm of possibilities.
