This is pretty similar to the VS list published last week, and they said Malfunction looked promising. Is it enough to get the win rate up to a respectable level? I did think it was funny that an old card like fireball looked like the highest drawn win rate card in the deck last week

It’s better to get it off the discount form what i can tell. I only have a dozen games played with it but it’s got a ton of burst potential. Plays like a hunter but with spells. I didn’t even know the deck was a thing till i was seeing it pretty often and found it was listed in HSreplay under Theo.

I’ll give it a run for its money and thanks.

I mean it’s got to be one of the cheapest decks i have seen in a while that is not bad.

what really wins conditions those for this not much face damage.

It’s literally all face damage. Like Dallean said, it plays like hunter. Send all spells face as often as possible and burn your opponent down

I like it. it burns a fair amount from hand, you can tempo, it’s fast, and you pretty much either straight up win or lose.
Long time coming for mage.
I don’t think I played it great. A little rusty with burn since it has been so long.

This deck can be good but I mean you really have to rush down your opponent like did with turn 7 kill.

yeah. I don’t think it is going to take over the meta by any means.

I got messaged that Nohandsgamer has been playing it for the last 2+ hours in top 10 and he’s something like 15-3 with the deck.

yeah, well players that good tend to win with anything.

What? A person show casing Mage isn’t complete garbage to the crybabies? Well, I’m sure this thread will be popular.

Is that why you came here? Wow. Thank you for the deep insights.

Yeah the deck is pretty good now. I would like to take this opportunity for my little aha! moment and say that I said so lel:

The 2 mana spell is amazing cheap removal and the discover pool of Spot the Difference got significantly better with the bombs minion and Magician. I played a game where I summoned a magician that my opponent couldn’t clear due to evasive and oh my lord did this minion carry the game.

Time to put Mage back on the auto concede list if this is true. I refuse to watch someone play solitaire.

I’m going to say wait and see.
The cards are new, and it has been some time since opponents had to tech against a fast mage burn deck.
It’s a fun deck nonetheless, and greatly appreciated from a team that has really starved mage for anything but discover as a wincon.

Nah the deck is good but I’m pretty sure it won’t be tier 1. Watch out for painlock lol, that deck looks scary.

Yeah. It will take time for the player base to adjust to the new cards.
Maybe tier 2, but 3 is far more likely when it all shakes out.
