Looks like Mage might be back

I mean no matter piloting skill. Top #10 in anything over frequent sustained play is a major green litmus to a good deck at optimal play.

Agreed. But I have seen players of that caliber take meme decks to Legend.
I would hesitate to base my reading of the deck on someone with such a deep knowledge of the card pool.

You are already complaining about it?
Play it, and then report back.
I did.

I was just looking honestly for something else to play. the deck i have been playing for the last two months is now the deck every Warrior is playing on ladder LOL. No novelty in playing that deck anymore sadly. I have to distract myself till i get around to building something new.

I enjoyed it. I think it is just what mage needs, and it might wind up being the deck to bring me back to Standard.
I just wouldn’t count on this being as strong as it appears from first day impressions.
The meta will adapt.

It is a decent deck to play and bring back for a while until the meta adjusts and makes the deck not worth playing anymore.

Yeah. I can already see this thing is fragile to anything that challenges the board, as I think that’s where most of the damage comes from.
Force this deck to trade, and I don’t believe it has the muscle to turn the corner, and burn straight from hand.

This deck is crazy in how fast you can cheap away the face damage so fast by turn 7 they die or not. I agree fighting to keep board control can be a real pain and take little wiggle room trying to keep you from not having to use all removal able keep clear the board.

Apparently Pockettrain has a better version he iterated on. I am curious what he changed up. At the very least the deck builders are looking at Mage and trying to make it work.

Yeah, agreed. Once this thing faces a real board deck I think it becomes MOR at best.
It simply doesn’t have enough hand burn to abandon board and go straight face.
But as a swarm deck it’s good, if the opponent doesn’t have an answer.

Mage has nothing good and glade did not waste money on this mini set because it favorite already powerful classes.

It’s an old deck build with just malfunction included, nothing new.

With that said, I do enjoy playing it xD 2/2 so far, it’s very hit or miss, 100% depending on if you draw your keyboard by turn 2 or not

Ofc, nohands is a well-known highroller, you don’t get to top 10 without highrolling a bunch, so i’m not surprised

Some people were just born lucky

Also, looks like he switched to Reno Shaman

Yes he switched out and made a video about his experience with the deck. He has no more luck than any other player. Lets not get silly here. I posted it out so Mages could see it’s not all doom and gloom. Also every deck is an “old” deck so lets not start going down that path.

If you like playing dull decks, this is your choice of deck.

Opinions vary. I like the deck. I just question if it is really all that strong once the meta adapts to it.

If you find dragging your cursor over your opponent’s face interesting I don’t know what to tell you. This is a boring go-face deck.

Reason I didn’t use the word fun.
I am not concerned with people having fun with the deck. It’s play style is a straight arrow. It’s a dull deck.

for you.

You are taking it to heart for what?
For someone claiming people can find different things interesting, you seem insistent on persuading me to change my opinion about how the deck plays.
