I was just looking at some of the epic cards I had in my overall set and I found living root under that category for some reason? I know it’s a common spell and even the dust still comes out as a common card so did something happen?

Living Roots was accidentally changed from Common to Rare with the last patch. They have now done a server-side patch to fix the crafting and disenchanting values back, and today a data-only patch will also change the client side logic back to how it should be.
Cost 400 to craft each. Dust compensation?
If you unwittingly crafted it when it was like this, you should contact support. Blizzard hasn’t announced any plans to automatically compensate anyone who did this, just as they haven’t done anything to deduct any dust from those who disenchanted their copies when they were worth extra.
