Let's Build A Deck

So, this is for everyone out here. I’m asking, all of the forum members, about a singular deck, we all should make together. Let’s try to avoid making a meta deck, but instead come up with something crazy, or stupid, and all try to play it together.

Got any build around cards in mind? Or a class we should focus on?

I was thinking we could start out any sort of cards, but personally, I think it might be nice to make a Paladin/Druid/Warlock deck, but have it be more like, misfits, some cards you might not normally see in play, but any cards could be included.

Are you open to a wild deck or do you want standard cards only?

Like for wild we could try a Control Paladin, or Beast Druid? Maybe Dragon Druid? Warlock has a bunch of choices for sure. Also would mind trying to get Spicy with a Mech Rogue who wants to make Voltron by Mimron’s Head.

Hell, i’m open to any type. Wild, Standard, anything. As long as it’s 30 cards, and a deck someone can play, I’d love it. The Mech Rogue might be a cool idea, as well, I’d love to see that, then cold blood it for lethal.

Alright lets do Mech Rogue. We need to find a strong baseline of cards that are for sure core to the deck.

So in my head im thinking Mechwarper x2, Annoyotron x2, Mimron’s Head, conceal x2 are for sure core cards.

Do we go for preps? Vanish, or saps to punch through for lethal? Vilespines, or Myras to go all out for the combo? Any combo type cards like gang up etc?

Were gonna need Galvanizers aswell, maybe more than Mechwarpers if we wanna make it a combo deck?

We could use Toggwaggles Scheme to hurl even more Voltrons in the deck if we used Myra so our deck has even more lol.

Mimiron takes 1 turn to activate, the combo is very likely to get disrupted by anything. I’d go for a Midrange-y style (vilespines ofc, faldorei striders, lackeys) with a deathrattle mech core (mecharoos, harvest golems, replicating menaces, shredders, safeguards)

I did a thread very long ago in old forum.

  1. I started with a neutral card.
  2. I ask the nest poster whom reply to choose another card to add to the deck.
  3. The following poster will do the same. But, if the previous poster had selected a class card, then the class for the deck is set.
  4. The following posters must add to the deck (1 poster 1 card) until a 30 card deck is completed.
  5. All restrictions must apply to qualify as a valid entry to the deck.

You may want to consider. :grinning:

Wow Mecharoo isnt a bad idea. Do we really wanna go midrange with Striders? Its not a bad card an we still need cards for the deck atm so why not.

Gotta add in them Chillwind Yetis. A deck of 30 Chillwind Yetis is about as close to perfect as you can get in Hearthstone.

Perfect curve.
Absolutely beautiful.
Brb.

You could consider pogo memes with Myra’s and Nomi.
Scheme is pretty good for a later reload, while Gang Up, the other shuffle guy, Spirit of the Shark and Mechwarpers can help establish huge boards.
Very memey, though.

Swop out valeera for mimron and you can do your mega windfury combo as early as round 3 with coin

Actually, I’ve totally made a Mech-Reno deck before. There’s enough mechs out to do it reliably, and since so many mechs have Deathrattle, it makes a good N’Zoth deck as well. Mostly just did it because I didn’t own a second Iron Sensei, but it was surprisingly playable. It fought off aggro pretty well with early mechs as not to need removal, and won late off a few power cards.

I should rebuild it; now that I’ve got Myras, might be able to do something weird with it. Wonder if Necrium Blade makes it in? Is getting a free Shredder 2-drop, Blightnozzle, or Replicating Menace 1/1’s enough to make it as good as Shaman’s Powermace?

First thing to figure out if we go mechs is whether to go Reno and fill with one-of’s, or drop it to get a more consistent and aggressive start. Iron Senseis will definitely run away with a board if you let them.

Oh and sorry guys if im spoiling the party with an already made deck. Its just one of my most favourite decks that tbh ive spend huge amount of hours tweaking.

Not at all, if anything it gives more ideas. I’ve made a couple too, but because my liste were so old, seeing what others do gives inspiration.

On another note, I was perusing some of Mage’s old cards. They… have a remarkable amount of very decent stuff. A full stated 2 drop with spell damage, a hero power buffer, a decently stated 4 drop with increasing spell power, one of the game’s cheaper duplication effects, one of the game’s most powerful draw enginee, and of course Flamewaker. And Vargath is now a thing.

I wonder if there’s something in there I’m missing.

If you guys really looking for some fun making something off meta in wild give a evolved evolution shaman a try with thrall and lackeys and vargoth.
Oh and dont forgot to add a bloodlust or two since your going to be building solid boards very quickly.
