Legendary drop rate

Can someone please explain to me how the F i just opened 30 decks and got Zero legendary cars? Is blizzard just saying FU to all the players that are not willing to spend actual $?

30 was never a guaranteed leggo. The first 10 have a guaranteed one. The next guaranteed one is in the next 40.

Drop rate for legendary cards have been terrible over the past 4 expansions. Hearthstone will lose customers if they continue to decrease the value of new packs.

i do wish theyd increase the rate. when i came back to hsa while back i opened more than 120 packs. and i think i only got 2 or 3 legendaries

You can only comment on your own experience, and mine has drastically changed over the past year or so.

Yes, which is why drop rates for legendary cards has not been terrible for the last 4 years or so.
You’ve simply had a bad experience of it :boomerang: :upside_down_face:

On average, you will get one legendary every 20 packs. At a minimum, you will get one after 40 packs.

So, 30 is somewhat unlucky, but not terribly so.

Can you explain why 30 feels like some definite threshold? Why did you feel that you should have gotten a legendary after that number of packs?

What is special about the number 30?

On the bright side you will be getting one in the next 10 packs, maybe even your next one!
