first chi-ji given away last event is the first mercenary to have less than 3 gold portrait options and now leeroy jenkins is being advertised in-game with a gold portrait that’s unobtainable. you can see it in the mail being advertised among the new mercs. I personally prefer the advertised gold portrait more than any other option.

I looked at the tasks for the event and it’s a non-starter.
I can’t imagine having wasted enough hours in cashgrabinaries mode to complete that stuff.

It’s not out of the question for me but I’m a mercenaries first player.
It’s an event targeted at people who play the mode a lot.
My only gripe is that they require access to the newest zone to do the event. While I am caught up with the event, that requirement is a gatekeeper for people who may want to get into the mode.

Indeed, i have a friend who will not do it, dispirited by the fact that he has to access the newest zone while not having the time.
I managed to beat all the tasks this time (easier than Chi-ji) but you must have the roster like the 5 humans or three dragons. (and few of my mercenaries are maxed)
Not everyone has such roster.
Again even if I managed to beat the challenge, i still consider that such event must be for everyone, not people who have a large number of mercenaries.
