Lamplighter should not be able to hit face!

This card is way over powered.
Im playing ladder (platinium, i cant get higher atm) and 8/10 players is elemental mage.
First rounds you have to deal with an endless supply of elementals. Twice to deal with revenant 7/4 body that deals 7 damage split around. Who invented this card??? You get to deal with it on round 3 or 4…
When you do make it through and start regaining bord control, in the end it doesnt matter.
You get hit for atleast twice +15 damage face thanks to this stupid card lamplighter. So whats the point in playing? They just either keep going face, no worries about my board, they know im gonna have to trade bodies. They just keep spamming bodies. Cause they know they have lamplighter to save the game

My opinion this card SHOULD NOT be able to hit face. Only minions. Problem solved.

Im done playing till this card gets nerfed, its no fun anymore when 8 out of 10 players is playing this brainless deck just to get wins in. No fun for whoever plays against it.

It’s a handbuffed Leeroy, but better, it goes through taunt.

Anyhoo, Lamplighter (or Lamplighter x2, to be more realistic) is a win condition. Yeah, its uninteractive, but that’s how its meant to be, and why it was nerfed to 4 mana.

Anyhoo:

So its (at least) turn 15, you haven’t won yet, and your opponent has played an elemental every turn and he drops 2x Lamplighter FTW…

If you can’t win by turn 15, you need to win sooner

Its already been nerfed. Having said that, being able to play it twice in one turn is what ends many games, unless the losing player was more or less within range of a fireball anyway. But nerfing it to 6 mana to prevent that would be stupid, given how long it takes to build up the damage it does.

BTW, Have you tried playing this “brainless deck?”. Surviving long enough to play 2x Lamplighter FTW isn’t easy.

If you think a card really needs to be nerfed, try playing with it, and see whether its as easy to win as you think. Lamplighter is a common, and most of the cards in the deck are commons, rares, and core. Zephrys is from the most recent mini-set, so you should have that, he’s great for board control while you’re powering up your lamplighters.

Other than that, you might want to run legendaries like Incindius and Saruun, but they are not necessary if your wincon is 2x Lamplighter. Add 2x Saloon Brewmaster (another common) so if you only draw one lamplighter, you can play it twice for 10 mana.

If the deck is OP, all the cards are easy to get, and the deck is “brainless”, there’s nothing to stop you climbing with it.

Try that, and then come back with your win rate. The deck isn’t as good as you think it is.

Yeah. I guess I should have noticed this earlier…

If you are new to the board, it probably makes sense to read other people’s posts before posting “card ‘X’ is broken, nerf plz”.

Leeroy is a Legendary. You won’t get hit by a buffed copy twice, except with Windfury.

Why are you telling me this? I implied Leeroy is worse.

I told it time ago. Spread damage. But anyway, I’m out of the game fast as hell. I came back to test new expansion, check that it’s the same trash game like always and take the 3 months deck. See you in 3 months, mates.

why play ranked if you dont like it?

My point is that because Leeroy is a legendary, your opponent won’t have 2 of them in his hand, unlike Lamplighter.

What about the 5 mana cost Ragnaros? The mage elemental deck is just silly.

I think the deck needs to be reviewed again. The problem with mage is that the elementals are very cheap and very powerful for their cost. It hard to keep them under control while taking face damage from their battle cry.

Why do you answer a post if you have no brain?

why are you here without a brain?

Yes, and it is too hard to break their chain to make Lamp Lighter do low dmg again… it just nonsense how much time do a card need to be changed properly… because I think at the end… they will make this to hit minions only…

I think the decks needs to be slowed down, but which cards is the question without hurting the deck overall win rate.
